Serra Britt 10-10-2011 09:45 PM

Don't you think you should do at least a little of it? oO

Lioshika 10-10-2011 09:49 PM

I did for the one due tomorrow. I read about 10 of the damn pages. But i can't retain the information. The teacher's writing is absolutely horrid and haphazardly done. It's virtually unusable.

Espy 10-10-2011 09:53 PM

-comes back from dinner-

Oh hi, Serra.

@Lio: Would taking notes help?

Lioshika 10-10-2011 10:04 PM

Espy; The problem is I can't focus enough on it to do notes. And if I took notes I'd basically be writing the whole damn book down because he won't tell us what is on the test.

If you want an idea of his book, here is the one we are reading.

Espy 10-10-2011 10:14 PM

Jeeeeeee---

That thing looks like a decent narrative at first, but it's dense as freaking hell.

Lioshika 10-10-2011 10:15 PM

-Nods- Espy; I get to read the whole freaking thing by the end of the semester. It's very bad. It's just so. . . UGH. Dense would be the word I guess.

Espy 10-10-2011 10:16 PM

Er...And why is there any point of going that in-depth into Hirohito and post WWII Japan?

Lioshika 10-10-2011 10:18 PM

I'm not really sure. Here is a better question.
-Sits up as she slams the book down on the bar.-
What in the hell is he thinking if he says "Tell me of the people, less about Hirohito" when we were reading a book ON Hirohito and it only really talks about him. -__-

Espy 10-10-2011 10:21 PM

Are we really having a scholarly discussion in a bar?

Kidding, but...

Which people? The people under Hirohito as civilians, or soldiers? Or American soldiers' point of view on Hirohito, or...?

Lioshika 10-10-2011 10:23 PM

The civilians. -Nods.- Very scholarly.

And he keeps talking about America

Espy 10-10-2011 10:39 PM

So basically he wants you to read all that from a Japanese civilian POV? x___X

Lioshika 10-10-2011 10:45 PM

I do believe so yes. But don't quote me on that. I'm unsure if that's it. Who the hell knows.

Funkduder 10-12-2011 12:39 AM

Eh. Maybe Hirohito is supposed to be a symbol of the Japanese civilians. IDK.

*Drinks heavily*

I'm not in a good mood tonight.

Misericorde 10-12-2011 12:54 AM

-Peeks in slowly.-

Funkduder 10-12-2011 01:21 AM

*gives attention*
Hello there...

Espy 10-12-2011 01:30 AM

Neither am I, Funk. For more reasons than one. Maybe some RP info will cheer you up? XD
