actually, hospital food depends entirely on where the hospital is. I was in hospital for 2 weeks straight and got fed much better than I did at home. We don;t exactly have 'healthy' restrictions in our hospital foods. I have pizza, burgers, fries, pie all sorts of awesome.

Lucky, our hospital food is 'healthy' though you never know exactly what it is you are eating. Which is why when I go in for my lungs I always bring MREs

It has been a few years since that happened, so it's most likely changed, as healthy eating in schools had been such a big thing lately. Luckily I only going to hospitals for 6 hours at tops now.

My favorite part of the hospital food around here is the ice cream. They have the same ice cream as my elementary school had. My elementary school had pretty good food. I wish I could find the kind of spicy chicken patties they used. |

The pain is probably not worth it for me. I'll take my coffee over icecream any day.
