Espy! -hugs- ^w^ I've missed you...as I always do since I'm never around boo hoo =(

haha yeah i sound like that second friend. I do not like it. I'm kinda like Rem in that i have little patience for those social mind games. i'm pretty honest to the point of being as blunt as a sledgehammer. ;^,^ Most of the time though i think i keep my thoughts to myself rather well. -nods- When it comes to flirting though I actually get nervous so i sadly to participate in the game of "do you like me?"

Espy 03-12-2013 02:37 AM

I don't have the guts to do that, so I try to drop subtle cues...Never's worked out, though.

I am oblivious to flirtation mostly because I think there must be something wrong with people in order for them to flirt with me. But if someone gets obvious about it or points it out, I turn red and start stuttering. :^
My mother calls me a charmer but I don't see it that way at all omg

I am honestly shocked.

I agree.
It shouldn't be so hard for people to put themselves out on the line for something they want (or someone, considering the topic).
Worst case scenario, you get rejected. Big deal, move on.
On the other hand, if things go well- then it's a good thing you tried, right? Ha.
Rejection shouldn't be made into such a big scary thing.
There are literally millions of people in the world.
That's plenty of options.

Eh.. it's nothing more than a basic impression really.
You just don't strike me as the type based on what I've seen so far. Naturally, I'm not going to pretend I know anything about you other than what I've read.
~sigh~
Forget I said anything.
I'm having a difficult time putting my thoughts into words and should probably get some sleep.
I already fell asleep watching 'Monster' half an hour ago.

I'm good at flirting with people who flirt with me first.
But I'm not good at starting any sort of interaction like that.
Flirting can be fun.
But it can also hurt when you take it seriously...
& the other person is just having fun.

Pick up lines...
Are you from Tennessee? 'Cause you're the only ten I see.
LOLOLOL

Anatidae 04-08-2013 08:06 PM

I'm really not observant so I don't know when I'm flirting or when someone's flirting with me. I always just thing I'm/they're being friendly.

My favourite pick up line is totally: are you an orphanage because I want to put babies in you

Epic Rave Monster 04-17-2013 05:40 AM

Is anyone else around here addicted to flirting?
Probably.. But not me. I'm more of a tease than I am a flirt.

Does it make you nervous or are you a Casanova?
Nah. It doesn't.

Does it ever cause problems in your relationships?
Not that I'm aware of.

Do you use pick-up lines?
Only when I want to be silly.

What are some of the worst/funniest/creepiest lines you've heard?

"Yo, the word of the day is "legs". Let's go back to my place and spread the word."

"Do you work at Subway? Because you just gave me a foot long."

"If you were a watermelon, would you spit out my seed?"

"If you were a car door, I'd slam you."

"You look a lot like my next girlfriend."

"Why don't you come over here and sit on my lap, and we will talk about the first thing that pops up."

One of our friends was hitting on Alpha yesterday, I found it mildly hilarious. The only time mild flirting hurts a relationship is when they arent comfortable enough to trust each other. As for that being said I find it funny to see other people try to come on to Alpha, he is either really oblivious or tells them to "get the hell off of him". Yesterday was a special brand of funny because of the fact that the guy is completely joking and once finding out that Alpha is bisexual startes profusely apologizing.

Alpha 04-18-2013 01:56 PM

Hey....I'm not that bad any more. I'm generally more observant and willing to either tell them no thanks or just play along (not in a bad way, in an "I'm taken, but still able to flirt way).

Dorian Pavus 04-20-2013 07:33 PM

I'm told I flirt a LOT though I don't try.
My guess is that people mistake my shyness and kindness as flirting?
