I think this is becoming a new hot spot to spend time...*pokes the fishy Pogs, invisible Ari, and hunter-like Lawtan*

Probs. I personally feel slightly out of place posting where the leaders of the threads are absent. So I gravitated towards this one.

Lawtan 01-24-2014 01:09 PM

Hunter-like? *Is confused*

Tiva 01-24-2014 02:08 PM

kind of hunterer.....

Alpha 01-24-2014 02:45 PM

Well, I tend to post about wherever. I have my few threads I frequent though, that's for sure.

Law...yeah, your avi reminds me of a hunter of sorts. Cosplaying something?

Lawtan 01-24-2014 09:48 PM

Not really.
*Most of my avi's just come to me...or something makes me frusterated and I put it in there - like being unable to fight/continue archery for a while after getting warmed up...
Closest thing I could think of would be Clan of the Cavebear meets Dragons of Pern.

Alpha 01-24-2014 10:37 PM

I've actually heard of Dragons of Pern...thought about reading the books. They are seem interesting to a degree on the surface.

Yeah, kinda the same way with me.

Arikana 01-24-2014 10:40 PM

Dragons of Pern.... Hm, wasn't that by Anne McCaffrey or something? o3o

Alpha 01-24-2014 10:55 PM

Yep. As I look it up it's actually the Dragonriders of Pern.

Arikana 01-26-2014 06:18 PM

Ah, close enough. >_>

I wonder how dragons age and how they look as they physically age.

Lawtan 01-26-2014 06:49 PM

I swear I have a book on that somewhere. *Dragons <3*

Alpha 01-26-2014 08:53 PM

Typically it's depicted by scales losing their color, some physical loss of muscle...kinda similar to humans, at least in most cases.

Lawtan 01-26-2014 09:05 PM

Add in the changes in structure similar to reptiles/amphibians in the beginning (growing in horns/fins, etc)

Alpha 01-26-2014 10:04 PM

Very true. Depends on the type of dragon though...aquatic, ground, flying, etc. So many different varieties.

Lawtan 01-26-2014 10:17 PM

Heck, there are even ones like the Quetzalcoatl, the Piasa, the Thunderbirds, and the "horned snake" who sometimes are lumped into the dragon category. (The latter 2 less so)

Fauxreal 01-30-2014 02:22 AM

I like miniature dragons. <3
