How goes the winter for everyone?

I don't watch The Walking Dead, but it's been warming up for me quite a bit! It was nice enough to go outside in short sleeves today! :O

It's going to get cold here again. GAH!

Where did you get your green tea from? :o

I'm only picky cause non-authentic green tea weirds out my tongue/taste buds. >_> It's really odd how that happens.

So uh. If you like green tea, I think the Genmaicha from Yamamotoyama is pretty damn good. It's green tea, but with something that tastes like...slightly burnt popped rice?

I guess I could wander downstairs and raid my parents' supply of green tea. >_> Problem is, I'm too lazy to go downstairs plus I need to finish some assignments first.

Espy: that's the same tea that I have. It's tasty.

It is the opinion of my sister and I that any green tea that is not at least half covered in Asian writing on the package tastes hideous. That's perhaps stereotyping, I know, but we've yet to encounter good green tea from one of the usual supermarket brands. Twinnings is ick, Stash is meh, I don't know what Tetley did to theirs but I don't go near their "green teas" anymore. Everything I have comes from one of the Asian food stores around town, or a small specialty store that sells leaf tea. Yogi Tea Kombucha is good though. Fairly sweet, for green tea.

I don't think Yamamotoyama is too hard to get. Do you have any Osaka or TNT supermarkets where you are, Ari? You should find it there.

Peppermint tea in hot chocolate is pretty good too, if you aren't interested in Schnapps. ;)

Where are you that osaka supermarkets are a thing o_o.
