Be careful with the cooking. I did batches of Ginger cookies one year for people and they went over really well. Now people are asking me to make them. -.-

I think I am going to try to make some sort of picture frame out of stuff o3o
I saw a DIY on taking a box and using wrapping paper to make it look fancy and putting a picture into it . . . and then you can like . . .put stuff in the box. Anyway might do that.

Another question I have ----- what do you get for a 15 year old boy whose into sports and being "cool" DX

Lawtan 12-01-2016 01:41 PM

...out of luck on the "cool" bit.
What sports teams do they like?

Glitch 12-01-2016 01:58 PM

i have no idea what that means either xD

san Francisco giants, dallas cowboys and our local boise state college team.

its my little brother, why couldnt he just be into pokemon xD

littl3chocobo 12-02-2016 02:46 PM

if he likes a local team then it should be easy to get a hoodie with the team's mascot on it, right? or does this also need to be 100% diy?

Glitch 12-02-2016 02:48 PM

well . . . I haven't got any money. But I could borrow some if I found the right something. I have some paints and some clay and various art stuff though.

littl3chocobo 12-02-2016 02:49 PM

well if you have any skill with either of those then make him a keychain or a pictureframe in the theme? it's kind of primary-schoolish but it would work XD

I personally love making homemade desserts for my loved ones, especially this holiday season. Graham balls are so easy to make, yet brings cheer to people. I also love eating them, myself.

Graham balls? Tell me more.

I scrounge the dollar stores for DIY supplies. The quality is not always as good, but if you don't need it, then it's cheap for what you can get. Most of my scrapbooking odds and ends come from there, and I picked up some things for an art kit I'm making for my sister. I got her a small, cheap, un-featured box that she can paint if she likes, and I'm putting the mini art stuff inside.

Mostly though, people are getting cards this year.

maybe you can gift something that is practical that you personalized? maybe you can draw/paint something on a coffee mug or make a cute scrapbook c:

Paper work inside a picture frame can be nice, especially if people aren't always scrapbook inclined, sort of like a variation on a shadow box.
