Okay so. I'm just a little sad that the vodou one doesn't have a cigar. For loa reasons.

I love the boney bits and that the feather head piece also has a pose on it's own. Plus the snake. And also the belt and waist sash from the first mate. I'd like to think of some recolors, but am completely blanking out right now. Other than black and white.

Hm... If we want to roll with actual vodou color schemes -- the masks would be symbolic of rada loa -- the older spirits originating from Africa. The main color of the rada loa is white.
However, the skulls are usually symbolic of the ghede loa (the spirits of the dead), and their traditional colors are purple and black. |

i would by no means call that item Vodou, espy. it is a very pop-culture take of voodoo. it is in no way representative of Vodou.

... I know what I'm doing for the avatar contest. |
if we ever do a properly Vodou item, it will be much more representative of imagery you would find in the actual religion. there's a reason why this month's item is called Novelty Hex, lmao

A couple months ago I asked Toho what I should do and he said voodoo.
So that is what you got. |
THE SKULL FLAG ......MEGA LOVE
