If my math is right, it would be 250au per 1 rune. So 12.5k to buy the 50 runes for Desolation of Faith total. So nit toi impossible, but I've found it hard to actually find people selling runes. (Maybe I just don't know the right people though.)

You should definitely pick up the free items in the shop! If you get creative you can get something that looks alright. At the very least get yourself a face, man!! It's neat to know we can buy runes with Aurum! With the crane game, how much is usually in the aurum bubbles? I've not been sure of how worthwhile it'd be to go for those... |

No worries, your tokens reset everyday, so even if you see aurum ones you can grab them if you want. ^^
