not a bad guess, and i'd say you are right to a degree (nev for example) but a bigger draw for me is moral ambiguity and complex characterization

dobby doesn't do much for me because traditional cute traits don't really sway me much

Oh yeah, I think that guy from GLEE was in the first production of that. I forget his name now, for some reason. Maybe because they had him playing Versace's stalker/killer?

I wouldn't know, I never watched GLEE. But yes, he did a fantastic portrayal of Harry with all of his worst traits amped right up to 11.
