Hm, I would think this griffin variant would have the owl head, wings and taloned feet, with the fox body and luxurious tail. As the barn owl is rather tawny, it could go well with the red fox or the fennec fox.
|
Sounds like quite the fascinating creature. May I stay here for a while? Perhaps we get to see it.
|
I'm pretty sure you can as long as you don't mind the glowing owl eyes.
|
That's cool, I don't need a flashlight when their eyes glow in the dark.
|
ooh more chatting! yaay! =)
and happy Nox! |
Nox is here, and I do not have a good halloween costume for my avatar. Rip.
Also, Owls are fucking glorious. |
oh, you're fine, Voidbarker.
i'm partial to Ravens myself. but Owls are very cool too |
Crows are particularly smart in the bird department, and I hear that certain species of parrot are able to get a rhythm going. Musically talented, 'ey?
And no, I'm not fine until I figure out how to do the Halloween costume for my avatar! I need a good one. That I'll probably figure out how to buy myself. With aurum. |
i've seen that Crows and Ravens are the same, but then i've also seen they're slightly different. i wonder if there's an actual difference, or it's a semantic thing?
also, check your trades! =) |
There are actual differences, yes.
For example the average crow lives for around 8 years, whereas the average raven gets to be 30 years. Crows have a high pitched call, whereas ravens sound low and hoarse. Ravens in general are also larger than crows. Of course they also have things in common, like both being highly intelligent birds. |
"An their tail feathews are diffwent!"
|
What about the jackdaw?
|
yeah, i think i knew that about the size, and their call. didn't know that about the lifespan though. cool!
ooh, thanks for that difference too, Derpy! =) |
I like how this spooky abandoned barn location has become a local hotspot. You could open the creepy owl shack coffee shop or something.
|
There aren't enough late night coffee shops. I can't quite put my finger on the reason why.
