Overly commercialized that I guess those who enjoy it mastered whatever gooey crap it takes to make it a good holiday.

It's usually always ruined for me...

A couple of years ago ALL of my friends and I were single and dissapointed and the day before V-day. ( DREADED V-DAY! OH NOES) it happened to be friday the 13th! So we celebrated the 13th instead, ate too much candy, pigged out on food, ran screaming " We're off to see the Wizard." from Oz down my friend's street and chilled by the ocean singing off key until 1 am when we came back to her house and watched horror movies until we all eventually fell asleep. Best non-v-day ever.

I actually had a really surprising v-day..I considered myself single..but recently I have acquired a sort of person who's obsessed with me..he bought me this ridiculous(gorgeous) necklace thing..sooo I guess I have a boyfriend because I couldn't refuse the gift because it just seemed like he went through a great deal for it...fak you V-day..your such a burden..

I never expect anything of V-Day, so I'm never disappointed.

Mine wasn't as bad as it could have been, though. For that I am glad. I knew someone who was getting a life-risking surgery and they came out of it alive, so my V-Day was great, in my eyes.

It seems that it is always filled with disappointment because people have such high expectations of Valentine's Day and when it doesn't go perfect, it is ruined for the person for another year in a row.
