How about Unique? Or Younique? :3

Maybe even Rango. It looks like Rango would suit him well.

I would usually just name my animal after my favorite food. xD

How about Nemo? I know that Nemo is a fish, but, it fits and I highly doubt that you're gonna find a dog named Nemo. AND it's kinda Australian if you think about. Nemo has the accent and lives off the coast of Australia. ^^

Actually, my neighbors dog is named Nemo...
And so is my aunt's... xp

And Australian Shepherds aren't really Australian...
They were bred in America... Lol...

As for name for the cutie...
What about Roo? As in kangaroo... Um lol. cx
*shot*

Best you call him "Dingo" too XP

Reyoki 05-02-2011 04:27 PM

How about Zaid(Za-EED)? It's Arabic for "warrior", and, since he's a rescue dog, I'd say it fits him rather well.

RORO :D XD Lol I suck at names. Good luck! Your dog is cute >W<

I find the best way to namem a dog is to watch him for a while and see what he does. I had names picked out for my dog. The front runners were Vinny and Jack. I called him Monty. ;). He's an English breed too so if fit better than the first one.

Unfortunately, as far as Australia goes I can only think of the things that are strikingly obvious, like "Dingo," "Digger," or maybe "Billabong." I know "Digger" is Aussie slang but I'm not completely sure what it mean, except that it relates to guy or boyfriend.

you guys dont know anything about australia, alot of the stuff people said is woefully wrong.(except the stuff about the shepherd though they have the term australian because they were shipped to some part in america with a bunch of aussie sheepdogs and people got them confused ><) Also, Nemo is actually greek for nobody and lost on some other language i cant remember.

btw a "digger" is someone who's fought in a war for aus, the term comes from the digging of the trenches.

I'll just compile some names here for you annie :P

Chopper, Errol, Rocko, Skippy, Agro, Billy, Bloke, Dag, Brizzie, Bluey, Boomer, Sooky, Stubby, Yobbo, Kero, Jumbuck, Jackaroo, Jarrah, Ozzie

yeah probably more

Quiet Man Cometh 05-02-2011 08:56 PM

Ah. That makes sense. I encountered it in a book title I heard about. If memory serves, "What every fair dinkum sheila needs to know to keep her digger's beer cold."

Probably has nothing to do with Australia, but I vote Absinthe.
