Yeahhh! I'm not the only one. <3

Next time I go to Barnes and Noble, I'm going to be looking for it.

It's really great, I love the story itself. Not a fan of 3D but my dad assures me the glasses they've made for them take it to a whole other level. They should, since they cost a hundred plus dollars each. The button-eyes still creeps me out though.

I personaly love this movie!!!!!

I love that movie, I love basically anything made from Tim Burton, I just watched it about a couple hours ago, I love the details on each cell/scene/characters/etc.

I like the movie for the reason that if it had been shot with real life actors, it would have made the scary movie genre. But then, it would be hard to get all the whimsical moments right that only stop motion can do.

As I posted in another thread earlier today, it's not Tim Burton, it's Henry Selick. Sorry, just had to throw that out there. I'm kind of obsessed with Selick's genius and the guy gets screwed so I basically have to shout this from rooftops every time I see TB mentioned...

Echo-chan713 11-03-2011 10:44 AM

sorry, but did have that TB feeling

I wanted to see the movie, but I never came around to doing so; I may watch it when I get the chance one day.

I saw it in theatres, it was pretty scary for a kid's movie I admit but I enjoyed it nonetheless. These poor 5 years old screamed throughout the ending in terror.

I saw the movie, then the book. I loved the movie, it was dark and moody and wonderful, but also had a whimsical effect to it. It reminded me a lot of Pans Labyrinth.

The book scared me to death, though. Whereas the movie just had some creepy elements to it, the book was very, very scary. She was alone a lot, and never had anyone to go to. I stayed up all night and read it. I love it<3

The movie was not as good as I thought it would be.
Still, minus a few garden dances, it is a pretty good flick.

NikkoGallarado 01-11-2012 01:49 PM

I will admit this, I like the movie far better then I did with the book it had. The book made me really unhappy.

katyasha 02-06-2012 10:41 PM

The movie was alright they left out a few things that were in the book.
