My dog does weird things all the time. actually it's less commmon for him to do normals things. Like he won;t destroy a shirt, but he'll just rip the buttons off without ripping the shirt. One time he also untied and unlaced some shoes. He'll start to chase his tail when he is told "no". He also barks at an extension cord everytime we leave to house throught the back gate O_o.
My weird dog is weird.

One of my cats runs around at night doing freaky things, she also attacks my feet when im not looking ><

Probably inheat or something.

That sounds like your friend is very energetic xD

Sarah 05-19-2011 01:11 AM

Batty 05-19-2011 01:19 AM

My cats do that ALL the time. They also climb walls. And I'm pretty sure if I taught them how to pole vault, they'd do that too. xD;

Chi 05-19-2011 01:47 AM

That's extremely odd.
My new puppy barks at his crap after he craps. xD;

Ryuuoh 05-19-2011 01:50 AM

My dog used to do that one too when he was younger.

Not really cause if my pet rocks did anything like that I would be scared, call my friend to pick me up and take me over to his place or he has to comeover and protect me from the possessed pet rocks (I now have 2 rocks)

Monty (yes, more Monty), old boy that he is, has a habit of lying down rather suddenly which catches people off guard often. He has some arthritis so I don't think he likes to bother with all the effort of lying down delicately, he just flops. He lies belly down too with his back feet out and it looks like he just turns his legs off. He's standing..now he's not. I call it his "disengage" button. He's done that and either people burst out laughing or the look at me with worry and ask "is he okay? He just fell down!" I'll glance at him to be sure it's all good but usually he's fine. He did belly flop off the couch the other day after he slipped when trying to jump. Mom and I were right there and a little shocked as he just looking ahead for a few moments and didn't really move. He knocked the air out of himself I imagine but otherwise continued to whipe his face and do what Mont does. He's little but he's a spaniel. They're tough. :)

Hehe disengage button xD nice.

The weirdest thing my cat does is either play fetch or woof at me.. not bark but woof.. it's strange to me cause none of my other cats ever did any of these things..

OH! and the fact my cat is REALLY good at walking on his leash when we go out side :3 it seems to amaze people.. I sometimes take him with me when I go check the mail.

Quiet Man Cometh 05-19-2011 05:57 AM

Well, apparently cats only 'meow' around people, never among each other, so I suppose your cat has worked out it's own methods of communicating with you.

I used to walk my rat on a ferret leash on occasion, though usually I had him in a basket (and hoped people would ask me what I had :D) and just left it on him so he wouldn't toddle off too far. Alas, rats being the skinny head and necked shape that they are, said leash didn't always stay on that well, and never did if he decided he wanted it off.

Demonskid 05-19-2011 06:08 AM

I need to get my cat a new collar that fits >< he has his blue one freyed out so bad.. it looks as though he has blue fur.. i get asked if I dye his fur on occasion -.-

but yea.. my cat woofs at me when he's throwing some sort of temper tantrum for no reason xD he just threw one a few seconds ago and is now laying in his cat tree scratcher thing @-@

Quiet Man Cometh 05-19-2011 06:45 AM

Heh. You just reminded me. My aunt had a really old cat that would tip over when you poked her. Nothing dramatic or anything. If you poked her in the side she would just tip over. Might be that her balance was really shabby by then, it took a second for her to tip. My cousin used to like to scare people with it.

Demonskid 05-19-2011 07:02 AM

x'D that sounds so amusing! I wish I could see..

*watches my cat spazz out* ._., zeke should do that.. *pokes* Zeke: falls over like a cardboard poster *stares*

Batty 05-19-2011 08:28 AM

I wish I could walk my cat on a leash! But she'd take off in a heartbeat. Then again, she's fat, so all I'd have to do is dangle a cheezeit or something and she'd come back running.

Predictable cat is predictable.
