I know words can't make up for what you're going through, but we are all here for you if you need to talk/rant. I only wish i could smack your boy upside the head for what he said, but i can't, unfortunately. If he's got it too, then it needs to sink in fast for him.

And i totally agree, turn the tables on him. what he said was cruel and insensitive, even if he didn't know it at the time. The whole point of a relationship is to be there for each other, and he wasn't there for you in the few seconds it took to say those words. Ergo, he loses my sympathy vote. He needs some tough lovin' on that score.
