Well, wonderflex is perhaps a cosplay material for most here, but it IS as a base a plastic used in the medical domain, so it was actually quite a good idea ^^

And I think I may have done the same thing (well, I wouldn't have thought of the wonderflex...clever idea really!), I'd rather bleed like crazy than actually go to the hospital and have suture points on my fingers ^^;

We used superglue, since it was created originally as liquid stitches we knew it wouldn't give me any complications. The wonderflex was more cause I was a freight manager at the time and had to be able to lift things without moving those fingers.

And I'd no idea wonderflex was used in the medical profession...we're idiot savants apparently.

Lol. Well it's made for plaster and the such if I remember corrrectly ^^ And you had a good intuition I guess ^^

Wonderflex or the likeness there of is used a lot with treating/splinting Animals. Least this is the history I saw on it- after the make shift cast for Fey ;D

There are a lot of homeopathic materials that have been lost over the years. Wasabi is also a wonderful disinfectant and depending on the purity of it can work as a minor numbing agent.

my idea of "curing" or keeping anything clean is superglue [hooray for WW2 field doctors!] alcohol[normaly the rubbing kind ;D] and ginger. Ginger helps with colds, hangovers and many other things.

are you implying I'm an animal??? I would threaten to maim you...but then you'd just make a splint for that too outta wonderflex :P
