The 1980's ponies were wayyy better.
I loved MLP back when I was a little girl.
My favorites were Lickety Split, Gingerbread, and Galaxy.

firefly was also great back then but I did love lickety split

Spike was awfully funny! & Wind Whistler was so smart. I thought she was super cool because of that.

i strangely really dislike the new ponies.. but if I had to choose one it would be Rarity.

I've never actually watched the 80s version... so that theme that Ladyduet posted was the first time I've ever seen them. owo The animation is much more detailed than the new show. O:

I'm really into drawing comics and animation so I really like stylized things which is probably why I like the art from the new MLP so much. Though when I watch it in HD I see a lot of mistakes in the animation since they apparently made it in Flash. Still impressive though. P:

XD so I've been slowly watching this show and reluctantly falling in love with it. I have to see that I enjoy all the ponies even ... pinkie pie. Her solution to every thing which is party amuses me. Though I am not sure what children are suppose to learn from it but I find it quite amusing. It makes me miss the power puff girls and Fosters home for imaginary friends.

SEEEEE?! xD I keep talking about it at work and some of my co-workers went out and watched it to see what I was talking about and I got them all hooked on it too! xDDD

I was thinking the same thing about Pinkie Pie. |D I dunno how good it is to teach kids to party about everything. hahaha
