Ah, I almost had
to check my haiku again.
But now I am right.

I am usually
very good with syllables.
Yet you made me doubt!

It's the awkwardness.
Some double vowels in words
will sound less as one.

Almost fooling you,
that interests me, for you're
captain obvious.

Double vowels suck.
I can never seem to spell
those words without help.

Captain Obvious
points out things that are clear to
other people but
usually she does
not quite catch on to what she
should know on her own.
