My favorite music genre, it's hard for me to say. I guess it would be classic rock, then alternative, and then rock. I have been listening to this music for at least 5-10 years. I just love the guitars and drums in the music and the lyrics and I like rock ballads.
Some of my fave artists are Journey, Heart, Bad Company, Bob Segar, Third Eye Blind, My Chemical Romance, No Doubt, Sublime, Daughtry, The Who, Steve Miller Band. Some of my favorite songs are Shooting Star, Lights, Take It Easy, Life in the Fast Lane, Never Let You Go, and more. |
I don't have a favourite genre really. I listen to most typed of music, although I'm not really into hip-hop/rap or country. Not all of it's bad though. I'm not closed-minded about my music tastes.
My favourite bands/artists include: Emilie Autumn, Marilyn Manson, Siouxsie and the Banshees, Metric, Maroon 5, Lady Gaga, The Cruxshadows, Dead Can Dance, Joss Stone, Faderhead The list of musicians I listen to though is really long. I have like 40GB of music on my computer. And yes, I listen to all of it. xD |
I prefer to listen to somewhat hard rock, but I like alternative sometimes. My favorite bands are Disturbed and 10 Years and Seether. I also enjoy Eminem, though, and Lady Gaga.

I have several 'favorite' genres.
Rock, Metal, Death Metal, Gothic, 80's, Oldies, techno, Classic Rock, Classic rap, and a few Hipster/pop/hip-hop songs. I like Marilyn Manson AND Black Eyed Peas. My friends tell me that I have the weirdest music selections ever. I'm currently most in love with 80's. It comes in waves, really. I've been listening to everything (Except metal, death metal, and Gothic) since I was little. The first music I can remember hearing is The Beatles as well as Simon and Garfunkel. Yet my parents also played Alice Cooper and KISS. Marilyn Manson is one who I am in love with. Not because he's "Rebellious" and all of that angst filled crap. I love him because of his sound. His lyrics are mesmerizing and I love his raspy voice. I'm also in love with MGMT right now. They're Hipsters, but I love the way their music sounds. It's like a mix of Techno and 80's. My current favorite song is 'Beautiful' by Custom. It makes me feel sad and happy at the same time. |

A Perfect Circle, Yasunori Mitsuda (especially his work on Chrono Cross)... that's all I can think of for now. XP And some of my favorite songs are Float On, 3 Libras, Cello Solo no. 1 (that's by Bach), Telephone, I'm Only Sleeping, Moonlight Sonata, Blackbird, Rhinestone Eyes, the ENTIRE Chrono Cross soundtrack (/nerd), and a bunch of other ones that I can't think of.
