I'm quite the vocaloid fan myself. I prefer to listen to the more gory/dark/sad songs as well as songs that have a more "old" instrumentation or which are dramatic. I love most of the songs from the 7 deadly sins series of songs, especially Judgement of Corruption, Conchita and Daughter of Evil because the instrumentation of the songs are extremely good (in my opinion).
I also like the more rockier songs a lot, as well as the dramatic/story-line ones. I think my most recent vocaloid song is/was Crazy Night. Also, while the voices are digitally made they are actually from different voice actors, one of the vocaloids even got his voice sample from an actual singer. I got into vocaloids after finding the song Alice Human Sacrifice on youtube by coincidences. At first I thought it was an anime and tried finding the series xD. |

Wow, so many other people like vocaloids. I prefer Megurine Luka over Hastune Miku mainly because Megurine has a lower tone to her voice, while Hatsune distinctly has a higher pitch. I do love them all though, and 90% of my message sounds, call ringers are vocaloid or some Japanese snippet. Definitely still plan to attempt to attend a Holo-Concert, it would be unbelievably incredible!

you should def check out more of them, like lily, megurine luka, gakupo etc etc |
