I used to live in California. The elementary school taught earthquake safely :3
|
Lol, Espy. You do I take it? I'll second the Californians in here then. I only briefly heard of the earthquake earlier today; I didn't realize it was large enough to be felt in other states. Personally, I think that's kinda cool. I mean, for an area that usually does not have earthquakes like that to suddenly have a 5.9er... (That's how big it was, right? I just now asked my dad about it.) |
Yeah, except, in highschool, they still expect you to be able to fit under your desk. -sigh- I'm one of the few people who can fit under both chair and desk...
|
@Espy, I was gone from California to the other side of the continent by high school... I'd have never fit under my desk then.
@Fallen, It is kind of neat to have an earthquake when you're not used to it, but it can be dangerous just like all other natural occurrences :/ |
Indeed it can. Especially if people aren't used to it. (I.E. Californians to Earthquakes, Floridians to hurricanes, etc.) Espy: Oh geez, really? Those tiny one-seaters? D; |
Yeah, this kind, haha...Most people's butts don't fit in there, y'know... /swt
|
*mumbles* Well it's true. Even if they aren't curvy in that sense, they're all super tall. California needs to seriously reconsider what it's doing about earthquake drills in high school it seems. >u>;;

Yeah, I -highly- doubt a plywood desk is gonna stop you from getting a concussion when a bookshelf falls on you.
|
Well we are suppossed to get hit by a hurricane this weekend too XD
Oh and yeah its crazy cause there hasn't been an earthquake in delware for like hundreds of years XD |
Espy: HA! I know right? XD Reaver: I heard of that too! Through Sunday, right? You guys are just programed have a 'fun-filled' week! |
Yeah my week is just peachy at the moment XP
|
While my fam felt it I didnt because I slept through the whole thing. ;o
