Call Me Maybe. It's an okay song to me, and seems like they play it a lot on the radio.

Mine on my particular radio station in the morning is Whats luv by fat Joe and ashanti (It is played EVERY DAY, it is driving me nuts)

The one Gotye song. Forget what it's called but there's lots of parodies of it too. :I

I think for me the most overplayed song is 'Somebody That I Used To Know' by Gotye. Don't get me wrong, I really like the song, I'm just not wanting to listen to it every five minutes. Or see the lyrics splashed across the Facebook and Twitter profiles of those girls who've just split up from their boyfriends.

Other strong contenders would be 'Call Me Maybe' by Carly Rae Jepsen, 'Mooves Like Jagger' by Maroon 5, 'Sexy And I Know It' by LMFAO and 'International Love' by Chris Brown ft Pitbull.

One song that will never be overplayed to me is 'Levels' by Avicii. It's my going out song! :)

That fricken Call Me Maybe song. UGH!!! Bubblegum crap is what that is.

Ughh, I listen to the radio way more than I ever would want to. Like five hours everyday work because of a horribly annoying coworker. 'Call Me Maybe' was the first to come to mind, followed closely by the Gotye song. Then it's stuff like Adele (who isn't half bad actually, just way overplayed), Kelly Clarkson, One Direction, and Katy Perry. Oh god and that one awful song that just repeats "I, I love you like a love song, baby" over and over and over again. Who the hell is that even by? Ugh. I hate radio music with passion. It's always the same ten songs.

Boyfriend by Justin Beiber. It seemed like everytime I turned on the car, it was playing. I've grown to hate the song with a vengeance.

We Found Love, earlier this year, too. I had friends complaining about hearing it constantly on radio stations that didn't even play pop normally.

Ew, really? I now dislike her more than I already did. She is on a level with Rebecca Black.

I don't blame you for knowing. xD We are bombarded with top 40 music constantly. It's everywhere. That isn't our fault.

I agree with moves like jagger, but a song I hear every time I turn on the radio is "Someone Like You" by Adele. Don't get me wrong, I love all of her songs and that one is my absolute favorite. But hearing your favorite son over and over again makes it slowly not be your favorite anymore.

Fauxreal 08-20-2012 02:45 AM

That 'so call be baby' song.

Gaius 08-20-2012 10:04 AM

@Graceful Reaper: I loved Adele's older stuff. My favorite song of hers is Hometown Glory. The stuff I hear on the radio now, though, like Rumor Has It or Set Fire to the Rain, doesn't have the same feel to it. :/

People are going to say Gangnam style but at least gangnam style is about something. I'm going to say anything by any big american pop artist. It's crap.

termyte 11-01-2012 06:29 PM

call me maybe it is stuck in my head at the moment my sister loves it.

Tears 11-16-2012 11:48 PM

Call Me Maybe. Even in China it's played on the radio frequently. So annoying.
