Brotherhood and Revelations add a lot of story and continuation to it. While not using a new character, it is in a new way and quite interesting.

Darth Vader 11-03-2012 01:14 AM

I don't know the main characters of Brotherhood and Revelations; isn't Ezio Auditore da Firenze the main guy in both? I'll probably play Brotherhood and Revelations after whenever I get to play and beat III because I'm sort of in a linear, play-I-II-and-III mindset.

Alpha 11-03-2012 01:16 AM

Yeah, he is. Though you trail through some of Altair's later life in Revelations as well.

Rico 11-03-2012 03:10 AM

This may seems like an odd, but am I the only one who got, when entering the codes for missions packs and whatever they had, a message that said : New Content Unlocked : No new content unlocked?

I don't understand that one O.o Like did it do something or not O.o?

Alpha 11-03-2012 10:46 AM

Depends on what the content was....

I know when I went in for the Mayan Temple mission and Captain Kidd's Sawtooth Sword, it said it was unlocked, but didn't show it in the "archive" or whatever it is called.

Rico 11-03-2012 02:51 PM

Oh that might be that actualy. I just found it very weird and confusing. It's the first time I've seen something like that, but I have this habit of breaking evertything related to technology I touch, so... yeah.

Still need to do AC 1,2, and the others before 3 <.<

Lestrade 11-03-2012 04:37 PM

Both Brotherhood and Revelations have some pretty big chunks of story in them, so if you care about the plot making sense you should at least read up on what happens in them.

John Watson 11-03-2012 04:56 PM

Yeah, like Lestrade said, if you care about the story you definitely don't want to skip them and go right to III. Even ignoring the Ezio-centric stories, they still involve a lot of Desmond-centric story. They may not have numbers in their name, but they are definitely sequels, not spin-off/stand-alone games.

As for Connor's design, I think he does look pretty neat, and the bits of Iroquois design they added is kind of nice. The problem is that he looks HORRIBLY out of place with everyone else in town. He's supposed to be able to blend in, but he sticks out so much compared to everyone else in their revolutionary-era clothing. That's really the problem I have, it doesn't fit the setting at all. If he spent all his time in the woods or something, that would be fine.

i have the one on the vita... it is so entertaining... even though its a different person

Pathosis 11-03-2012 06:00 PM

I like this game. A lot. >>
Even though all I do is watch, loooool.

Lestrade 11-06-2012 02:33 AM

I'm still waiting to see who Connor's going to be slashed with

though nothing will ever replace altair/malik in my heart

Pathosis 11-06-2012 03:36 AM

LOL.
Only time will tell. xDDD

Alpha 11-06-2012 10:25 AM

Yeah, only time will tell. In defense of patriots attacking/chasing Connor, remember there are Templars on both sides of the War.....

Belial 11-07-2012 03:30 PM

Best Buy is having it on black Friday at $34 or so.
I might buy it then.

Alpha 11-11-2012 09:30 PM

Okay, so I beat it. Love the game, but a bit disappointed with the ending. That said, it sets up nicely for a possible sequel.

Espy 11-11-2012 09:35 PM

-drops in for obvious reasons- Heeeeeyyyy.
