They're worse...they're final papers. 2 13-15 page research papers, and one 8-10 page synthesis paper.

It takes many years practice, and a gift in the art of BS...I can write a book review on a book I've never read before and get a passing grade on it. That's actually what I'm about to do.

On Doing Local History, it's this horrible, boring, informative book on how to do Local History and Genealogy...And it has taught me nothing but "The Census is your best friend"

Ew, really? I don't see how more interesting it could get unless it turns out there's a strange story behind it all. That'd be an interesting book to read. Good luck with that thing.

We're reading another book that is actually a genealogist's trials at doing genealogy on celebrities (including President Obama), and I've learned TONS from it.

Like where Obama was originally born? Wow, now that's an interesting book. What did you learn from it exactly? Or what was the most interesting piece of info you found in it?

More like where his family root lie (he's part Irish!).

It's the fact that she goes entirely through her process and explains what happens when she meets a roadblock and how she handles issues.

I've read all but one chapter of it, and I've skimmed that one. Another good book is Winter's Bone (it's just a fiction book, but I couldn't put it down)
