I would of loved to see it back when Tom ran it. And no, what I meant was going into the future.. they're trying to keep it medieval themed but are slowly running out of ideas..

I am actually more or less starting to sell off my inventory on there and keeping only a selected number of items, mainly if I ever finish my dinky set on there.. would be dinkies and cloaks, my fake angels and my mod top.. I promised my friend she can do art for my big golds and a few other items. Might keep my devil tails and cat mask/tail set..

Gaia.. well.. I log on once in a blue moon for dailies, etc.

@Dawn: It was better community-wise, but Tom could have run it better. But at least the site actually functioned as a community. Now it's just cliques and elitists. >.> Well, with partial exception to Scarz, but even he can be a bit cliquey. :/ I just wish Tom wasn't screwed over by the admins he had when he started the site, well minus Rim, she wasn't too bad until the site started flopping a bit. XP

OH. Yeah, well, the Tom era already exhausted a lot of ideas, so of course the Alex and Blaze eras are going to struggle, unless they want to be unoriginal. XD Which is another reason why I love Tris: It runs on it's own year. This way we can create eras as we go, rather than having to stick to a certain era in real life. ;3

The only OLD or semi-old items I still have on my Zantarni account are my green dinkies, original black/white pirate hats, artificial wings, black and green sharlou, green and blue cloaks, angel scythe, tail of yur, frost bite (regular one, not the special one -- Sadface) , severance, punisher, fable crush, spirit staff, spirit axe, refined fencing sword, mini yoricks, complete set of level four earth and air stuff. <3 OH, AND AN OLD FIRE ORB. <3
I had a lot more, but I used quite a bit of my no-longer-owned-and-didn't-care-for-as-much stuff for some art. XD

I can understand that, I think the different period/era is better themed but so many sites do something similar to it and to be honest, it's probably too late for any changes to help Zan.. it will always be a smaller, clique based community.. I won't mind logging back to chat with my friends on there but my interest to be a fully active member left awhile back.

I have very few items left over there lols. I gave most of them up for art a long time ago. I do still have my level four fire staff and two pairs of abraxius wings....but thats it xP

Most of my other wings went to art.

I just wish I hadn't traded away most of my cloaks (both hooded and non-, as well as enchanted hoodeds) for art. ;w; I miss seeing them in my inventory now. >.> XD I knew I would never be able to touch my old weapons for art. I just can't. I love my old weapons and wings. <3 And do wish I never used my phoenix wings for art, but not much can be done about that now... :/

Well, that and the one major bad thing about the Tom era. He did accidentally, and definitely unintentionally, built up a bad reputation for Zantarni in which gave potential future pixelists the idea that they won't be paid. Which is NEVER a good thing to do. >.> So good luck to the site getting pixelists now. XD

If I went back I'd miss my pheonix wings and dragon wings the most. I mean I had the artificial wings as well...but I didn't really use them all that much.

You would of joined around the same time as I did.. I remember I joined like 2009/2010 cause shortly after I did, my friend on Neopets had all his, his girlfriend's and their daughter's accounts chain frozen.. cause it was a few days before my birthday.. and they agreed to give one account back.. but they got all iced again so he left.. I just got back in touch with him this year.. he came back to Neo.

But yea, I know they are. Medieval is okay but after a few years, it gets tiring fast.

Yeah, the problem was I just got so bored. There wasn't enough variety for me.

I got into RPGing on the site, back than there was a RPG scene.. these days, it's pretty much dead unless you do 1x1's..

Can't say the site won't ever pick up again but til Blaze realizes that most of her ideas won't move Zan forward and offer a variety of ways to earn gold, etc.. cause right now, to earn anything really, you have to post and half of the time, unless your friends with the active people, there is no where really for everyone to get active and not everyone likes posting.. I, for one, more preferred earning my pure from the mining.. but now with the restrictions, one round of mining and I have to wait like three hours to do another. Not worth it for the amount of pure you make during one session.

Yeah, it takes forever to earn anything worthwhile.

Yes....it. does. I spent a LONG time earning my artificials.....so long that by the time I earned them.....I didn't really want them that much anymore.
