-sigh- Speaking of lonely, I have lots of friends who are around 21/22, and yesterday during Nerf Wars, one of them was seriously freaking out about not being able to have a long-term relationship with anyone.

Espy- Oh my. . _ . That's always an odd situation to be in. When I come across people like that I try to see exactly why they say that.

I mean, he's awesome and decently good-looking, and has had a couple of relationships before but hasn't been able to keep any of them. He was saying that even though he knows finding a job or grad school would be more important than trying to find a women, the first two just seem worthless right now. He's having issues trying to figure out exactly what it is about him that keeps women away.

...And then someone said "Okay, raise your hand if you're currently not in a relationship." Out of the eight or so people in the room at the moment, only two people had their hands down.

Aww. Perhaps it's just the women he keesp trying to pursue that don't click completely with him. I know for experience that there were things that I did that intimidated guys, and then there were things that most guys did that repelled me. And my boyfriend, before we started dating, realized that the girls he pursued were just...not right for him. They always created problems that weren't there. He's not one to jump the gun or do anything risky, either.

Well that's not that bad of a ratio in comparison, at least he won't feel 'alone' or anything.

Yeah. I'm pretty sure a lot of the things I'm into/do really scares guys sometimes. (Seriously, a relatively androgynous girl who hate most girly things, has gender issues, is interested in gun culture, runs around with Nerf weapons, is in KGB, glares, and is sullen at times and obnoxiously loud at others?)
