"Och go on wi' ye then," said Ellen, she presented him with a large and delicous smelling meat pie, "Try this, tis mah own recipe," she said.

uncledaddy 03-02-2013 07:08 PM

Randy gave the pie a sniff, immediately approved of it, and tucked in. "This is wonderful," he commented. "What do you put in it?" He wasn't entirely sure he cared; it tasted good and reminded him of some of his favorite foods from his home planet. And of course, best of all, it was being given to him by Ellen...

Red Lion 03-02-2013 07:35 PM

"Tis minced rabbit wi' fresh herbs from tha garden and some good gravy," said Ellen reaching out a hand to wipe a bit of said gravy from Randy's cheek with the tip of her finger, she brought the finger to her mouth and tasted it, "Mmmm!"

uncledaddy 03-02-2013 07:39 PM

Randy grinned and took another bite, this time deliberately allowing a bit of gravy to drip onto his chin.

Red Lion 03-02-2013 07:44 PM

Ellen smirked and leaned forward to capture it with her tongue, she wasn't normally so bold with new servants but this one was the handsomest in a long time.....

uncledaddy 03-02-2013 07:50 PM

Randy was a bit surprised, but hardly disapproving. "I can fit an entire apple into my mouth," he boasted, momentarily caught off guard by the desire to win her over.

Red Lion 03-02-2013 07:51 PM

"Oh Ah'll be ye can..." Ellen purred, "But is there anythin' else ye can do wi tha' mouth?"

uncledaddy 03-02-2013 07:57 PM

"Oh, many things," Randy answered smoothly. "I'd be happy to show you if you like."

Red Lion 03-02-2013 08:00 PM

"Weel, tha missus won't be up fer another hour...tis just ye and me," said Ellen taking off her spectacles.

uncledaddy 03-02-2013 08:03 PM

"Oh... Well, I suppose we don't have much time to waste, then," said Randy. He was only now becoming slightly nervous with the realization that he'd never attempted to mate with a human. They seemed so small and fragile, though admittedly this one somewhat less so than most he'd met previously.

Red Lion 03-02-2013 08:08 PM

Ellen grinned and gave him a kiss, "You done this before?" she asked, sensing his nervousness.

uncledaddy 03-02-2013 08:14 PM

He gave a soft chuckle. "Never in a kitchen," he answered jokingly. How was he to tell her that he was used to women who were over six feet tall and of a much sturdier species? Even among his own kind, he was considered large and quite powerful. Of course, he would just have to tread carefully--and surely it would be well worth the extra consideration. What a lovely creature...

Red Lion 03-02-2013 08:16 PM

Ellen chuckled and pushed him back onto the table, "Weel, ye just tak it easy noo an' let me lead, a'richt?" she said positioning herself so that she was straddling his waist.

uncledaddy 03-02-2013 08:20 PM

He raised an eyebrow at her. It seemed unconventional, but it did make things simpler. "I like the sound of that just fine."

Red Lion 03-02-2013 08:22 PM

An hour later Ellen smoothed her skirts back into place, "How do ye feel?" she asked.

uncledaddy 03-02-2013 08:26 PM

"I think I may be spending more time in the kitchen from now on," Randy replied. And no need to be particularly concerned about the size of her, he noted to himself.

Red Lion 03-02-2013 08:30 PM

"Guid, I'll be glad fer tha...company," said Ellen, giving him a kiss.

uncledaddy 03-02-2013 08:33 PM

He returned the kiss. "You should meet with me when we've got a bit more time," he offered. "An hour certainly goes by quickly."

Red Lion 03-02-2013 08:36 PM

"So it does, noo, I'll ha ta tend to makin more breakfast for the missus, ye go and see to Alissa, she'll likely be in the study this time of day," said Ellen giving him a gentle shove towards the door.

uncledaddy 03-02-2013 08:40 PM

Randy smiled and nodded, checking to make sure that everything was in place before he went to find Alissa.

Red Lion 03-02-2013 08:41 PM

Alissa was in the study, a book was open in her lap but her gaze was directed at the window and the birds outside.

uncledaddy 03-02-2013 08:49 PM

"Good morning, Miss Summerville," Randy greeted her as he approached.

Red Lion 03-02-2013 08:54 PM

Alissa started, accidentally dropping her book, "Oh...Mr. Baker, hello," she said nervously, "You..you can call me Alissa if you want."

uncledaddy 03-02-2013 08:59 PM

"And you can call me Randy," he answered brightly before picking up her book and placing it on the table in front of her. "Were we supposed to be reading something?"

Red Lion 03-02-2013 09:02 PM

Alissa gave him a sheepish look, "Mother wants me to read up on the family history of the French Monarchy," she said, "But it's really boring....and I don't know that I'd ever go to France, and even if I did why would I need to know all this?"

uncledaddy 03-02-2013 09:05 PM

Randy smiled. "I couldn't tell you," he answered truthfully, "but it doesn't hurt to learn. What makes it so boring?"

Red Lion 03-02-2013 09:09 PM

"Well, it's nothing but names and dates, this king was born one hundred years ago, he got married at 25, he had three children, then he caught typhus and died at age 47, that's all it says about any of them, it's just a list of men who are only important because they were kings, none of them are really extraordinary, or heroic," said Alissa.

uncledaddy 03-02-2013 09:14 PM

"I understand the sentiment," said Randy. "I haven't studied the matter extensively, myself. I much prefer learning about people as... people, as opposed to titles."

Red Lion 03-02-2013 09:18 PM

"That's how I feel, I wanted to learn about Kind Arthur, but Mama insists he's only a legend, but I think maybe he was real, or at least inspired by someone real, so many people believe in him. Besides, even if he is a legend, legends are important, they say a lot about the people who grew up with them and the countries they come from," said Alissa.

uncledaddy 03-02-2013 09:26 PM

"That they do; you are a very bright young lady, aren't you?" mused Randy. "I could get you some more personal information if you think it would help," he offered.

Red Lion 03-02-2013 09:27 PM

Alissa beamed, "I think that would help, it will be easier to remember who was who if I have something interesting to tell them apart with,"

uncledaddy 03-02-2013 09:34 PM

"I've got a friend who is a historian and should have just what you're looking for," said Randy.

Red Lion 03-02-2013 09:35 PM

"Do I still have to read this book today?" Alissa asked, picking up the tome with a sigh.

uncledaddy 03-02-2013 09:37 PM

"Will your mother want to know what you've learned by the end of the day?" Randy questioned.

Red Lion 03-02-2013 09:39 PM

"No, she doesn't really care, she's going to be away for the next two days," said Alissa with a sigh, "Now that you're here she'll be home even less than before,"

uncledaddy 03-02-2013 09:43 PM

"Well, that is unfortunate... but so long as she isn't here, why don't we try my approach to the subject?" Randy suggested. "You can put that book away for the day and tomorrow we'll go out and speak with that friend of mine. I'm sure he can tell you all sorts of fascinating things."

Red Lion 03-02-2013 09:44 PM

Alissa nodded, "Sounds good! But if I'm not going to study today what should we do?" she furrowed her brow, "D..do you maybe want to come outside and see the garden with me?"

uncledaddy 03-02-2013 09:46 PM

"I'd love to," Randy replied. "Shall we?"

Red Lion 03-02-2013 09:50 PM

Alissa stood and took his large hand in her much smaller ones, "Come on then!" she lead him to the garden, which was expansive and full of colorful flowers, a stone fountain stood in the middle where a stream of water poured from a jug held by a sculpted angel.

uncledaddy 03-02-2013 09:58 PM

"This is lovely," Randy remarked as he took a look about the garden. "You have a very interesting variety of plant life."
