actually other than the hand of the wall monster it all came out just as good as any of the monthlies and i don't recall /those/ having their shading bitched about

personally i am quite pleased with most of the rigs especially the frog which is good enough to almost be a monthly

As always the designs concepts are quite beautiful... the execution... not so much.

I'm unsure which one has that stupid ass tongue... but it makes an avi look like a pokemon reject.

Gambler looks like a cross between a mage and a pimp, the cards seem kind of random, at least someone can do a gambit cosplay...

Parasite item doesn't make me think parasite, it makes me think of a fail attempt at possession of a disney hero. (Yeah, I went there)

Frog again I see this item and I think of someone you'd find Misty from pokemon fighting with. I must admit the touch with the lotus is a perk though.

I don't think I can say anything bad about the maple seed, it is my favorite by far in this bunch.

Last item makes me think of a fantasy goblin king, where I am not one into gobo's it is an interesting item but not something I would use all that often.

For the most part standards seem to have slipped as time has gone by, and all in all I know the artists and pixelists have worked hard on these items but they seem half assed and rushed. I know this will be met with a lot of negativity but this is /my/ personal opinion.

So since this is the second time I believe Kaguya has mentioned this what you mean by nicely pixeled?

By my eye I can see that it is. The lines are very smooth and fits trisphee tool style.

Edit: I only ask because saying it is one thing but I am a person that likes to learn from the past and mistakes so I require clarification.

I was actually going to post that I really liked the pixeling, that it's gotten better and I love it on many items that have come out lately, heh. Especially on this item, it's so nice and smooth on the arm, and I love the smoothness of this ink brush too

Personally I think their pixels are getting better. But that's my opinion. But between my biological dad having been in the hospital (my step dad and the person i called dad died 3 years ago), my step sister having surgery to remove her appendix and lesions on her kidneys, and work I haven't had time this week to do anything. My schedule is about to be completely changed at work because I got a promotion. Hopefully everything will settle down within the next few weeks so I can get some work done. I have a lot of stuff on my trisphee plate I would like to get done for you guys.

and having actually looked through the items now(other than the tongues*shudders*) i really love the colour combos. the items lately have actually made me break out of my red/black combos and broaden my avatar styles so props to the art team :D

I can't wait for the day when you have an avatar that won't use a single bit of red OR black at all, Ashykins. Though, I will allow for the pupils of the eyes and other facial features to be an exception as those don't really have much options. >3>
