Believe it or not, I'm usually incredibly forum-shy and don't do much in the way of avatars. I crawled on to Trisphee for roleplaying back in 2011 and only posted in two threads until...oh, a little while ago.

Well, it's currently the Year of the Horse so you could always go with that? And red. I'm not sure what I'm going to do yet but I think I'll try something.

Some basic information about Chinese New Year that may be helpful:

• Last fifteen days long, the seventh (or middle) day is regarded as everyone's birthday.
• A red pocket with money are handed out to children by their elders on Chinese New Year Eve. Another red pocket is handed out during one of the fifteen days once the younger party has properly greeted the elder.
• There is a word, pronounced fook, which means blessings and happiness.
• You can look up traditional foods eaten during this time and make an avatar based on that.
• It is the year of the horse this year.

Hopefully that will get some creative juices going for all of ya. ;)
