Yes card game was alright. I think tetra master from 9 was better. =3

I'm not playing that game again. I tried and the whole 4 hours in I kept thinking how I'll get stuck at the same part again and it was stressing me out thinking of how angry/depressed I was about it. And also the ps2 broke. /)_.)

I didn't really care for Tetra master ._. I liked that the cards leveled up and everything but the randomness factor... just. eh.

There was a pattern to it. And when I looked it up the number/letters were codes and there was this whole explaination to it. Although yeah it's stupid they just put some code on there and not concise stats. But still...well it's not necessarily better than what's it name. =)

Had to say something, because I loved that game (even if it took me a dozen times to win the stupid tournament in Treno). Yes, took a while to figure out and was *very* annoying. The games makes sense once you figure out that it all comes down to the little yellow arrows on the cards. Here's my breakdown if it helps.

A card can only attack (and defend) in the directions those yellow arrows indicate. If a card with a yellow arrow is played next to a card with no arrow, the card with the arrow always wins, end of story. If a card with a yellow arrow is placed next to a card that also has a yellow arrow and they touch, then there's a fight and the card stats actually matter. The more powerful card wins.

When a card is played, it attacks in every direction it's capable of. For example, I had a boar card with 7 arrows of the possible 8. When I played it, it would attack in seven different directions. (I typically placed it's non-arrow side against a wall or a card that also had no arrow on that side to prevent it getting attacked and auto-taken over from that direction). When it took over another card, the battle would continue in the directions of the yellow arrows on the new card, and so on. That's how you can pretty much take over the board with one move.

I eventually stopped using that boar card because it got so high level that if anyone did take it over, I had nothing tough enough to take it back.

Dangit! Now I want to play the game again. Does it exist on an emulator somewhere?

I think I might even have considered making a physical version of the card game. Could be interesting.

Deck for personal use I figure. Could always make one for other people to colour ;) were I to get that far.

I think I'd just skip over the part about them getting stronger to start with, and maybe work it in as a mechanic later if I can find a way that works, perhaps with glass counters.

The complicated part of it is what turns you off? Cause I do love that about Magic. Granted I can't really get into the black deck, it's too complicated even for me.

I used to play. I have tried a lot of CCGs but the only one I played extensively was Magic. Gave away most of my cards but for my collection pieces, Cold Snap block, and my decks.

I like milkstirs just as much a milkshakes ;p

There isn't any good online magic games as far as I know so unless you got friends playing with a spare deck I don't blame you.

@Quiet: I used to have a powerful green/white deck that was sadly stolen. A fast deck was my primary weakness cause I had what I call a tier defense. You couldn't kill one creature without killing the first in the chain. Meanwhile they buffed each other and I had several artifacts that healed me and refreshed my deck. >w>

For now I have a bunch of random cards which I can make a deck. It'll just be a weak one.

awww he does! What did you mean exactly by coloring outside the lines? CAuse I don't really see anything other than the grass. Besides the question coloring outside the lines can be an artistic thing ;3

That's it, the grass is completely outside the lines! :P

I wish I had a tablet, though, I can color a bit with a mouse and my right hand, but can't draw well since I'm a left hand user. I'm more at ease with paper than screen, by the way. :)
