....We need a mechanic for "liking" posts.

Jurinjo 04-09-2014 01:27 AM

@Espy: You are saying that because you recently got a a "proper tumblr of sorts" ;p -pokes-

Personally I'm not so sure of a "like" feature because it may give less reason for someone to post. And there might constantly be a little bubble next to my avatar saying someone liked something I said. I hope that doesn't come of as...er I can't think of an adjective right now >_<

@Vincent: Before I ever heard people referencing it I did happen to watch "the pirate movie" where it does a spoof. Even in context that song is random and not to mention impossible. I don't know how they even filmed that scene xD
I don't know the original you can look it up on youtube if you ever feel like. I like the pirate movie version more though xD

Can I just say that, the KOC was not an actual Rp hangout. And there have been themed hangouts in the past, like the pandora, the dragon, the one dealing with spies, the church of fen. The KOC hangout had titles for its members. Its members in turn created more of a bond between its members that frequently posted. Some of its members took its persona a bit too far but it was a bit like an mmo guild. I see a rp hang out more as say the Speakeasy, something where users can walk in an play as a patron in the bar. If you wanted an Rp hang out where you talk about rps then I think that is a hang out, if you wanted something where you created characters I think that should go in the ooc or the writers forum. That being said I don't think a themed hang out would be a problem given that many of the old members of the site have waned out and no one hardly remembers the issues that have happened in the past and it might be fun to have that small community with in the larger community.

As for the charity, if you guys start one up I would not mind donating to it. I feel odd donating to a person I can never determine if they are worthy or not. If its something like a newbie adoption I also would not mind volunteering to be a mentor if I can.

And... XD Trisphee Fancomic! I would be amused to read what others wrote.

Half of me wants to like posts because there are quite a few posts I've seen that I'd like. XD
But the other half is with Jurinjo on that it would get annoying with the notifications and would probably lessen posting activity somehow... XD

And then again there IS the option to 'rate threads' so. That kind of works. XD

I am the very model of a model Trisphee citizen!
I've avatars of every sort from cute to fish for reeling in!
I know the war of Taskal, why, I've even helped the fighting men,
And saw Corruption's wicked host attacking the Divine again.

I'm quite the avid chatterbox across the forum threads, you see.
I post a lot and I buy runes for purchasing my finery.
And when events are posted I keep reading up on all the news --
So I participate in all! I simply just cannot refuse!

I'm excellent at layering; I've forty-seven items on
To make up my fine avatar that you now lay your eyes upon.
In short, in every way that's good for users to be active in,
I am the very model of a model Trisphee citizen!

Very much this, IMO.
I will have a ton to sort through when I have the time...

Espy 04-10-2014 04:16 AM

Guys. Seriously. It was a joke that I threw bc of Coda's post.

Lawtan 04-10-2014 01:19 PM

Nuuuuoooooo!!
*Grabs a rubber pitchfork and chases Espy around, before falling on one of Eros/Xero's banana peels*

Okay, right.
