Plenty of commons too... wasted 30 balls on that Ivysaur....
had over 200 pokeballs at one point, now have 119.....
will probably have to stop at the college for a night walk XD

I just tried to get on the servers, it said they are busy, experiencing some issues, etc...

The favorite part of the game is that it forces me to exercise. xD Like, seriously, so far every day after class instead of going home, I tour the campus just to scout the Stops for items and catch Pokemon.

Unfortunately, the game burns so much battery that even my portable back-up chargers can't power it long enough...

It'e never been like that in any other Pokémon game, anyway. ^^

Nope you don't have to feed them but you do have to heal them after Battle.

I spent the day running around getting Pokemon, ran into a group of people doing the same thing and we wandered around in a pack. Went to dinner near three stops and kept spinning it all through dinner. Someone also used a lure so we had a huge amount of Pokemon showing up. I think I love this game

i learned you could have pikachu as a starter if you continuly ignore bulbasaur charmander and squirtle! i had no idea ;;

The augmented reality functions are optional -- the game plays fine without using the camera and in fact I recommend turning the AR off to save battery and improve game stability. If your Nexus 7 is on 4.4 or higher, give it a shot!

My Android phone is capped at 4.3 so I have to use a gigantic tablet for the game. T_T

It seems to work better with my wifi for some reason, but I can't take it with me when I go outside. xD

IF you don't have cellular data that you can use then you will have to stay on Wifi.

this little town i work in has it's own facebook group and they do pub crawls and make posts and go out pokemon hunting together. makes me kind of want to move here so I can feel like part of a pack XD

Day's update:
I went on a ride to the drive in after my walk.
Ratata (2 mile walk)
Sandshrew (gas station)
Weedle, Pidgey, Staryu (ride)
Eevee, Drowzee (walking around drive in)

Lost 10 pokeballs to a Pidgeot. XD
The eevee was a miracle. The server messed up mid-catch, but I didn't lose it. :D

There is apparently going to be this huge one in Raleigh next week, and when ever we do movie nights we hit up the spots around my friends apartment.

Tomorrow is going to be a park day, I have a lure and two incenses and an extra incubator. I am going to walk 2 miles hitting up all of the stops in the park and do a quick mapping quest to see how it looks my the convention center for a group i work for. They are going to try to incorperate Pokemon GO into our next convention.

Reminds self to charge the power bank tomorrow before going out.

Something curious I noticed... If you start the app in a place with no landmarks in sight (such as my house), you never see any no matter where you go (such as downtown). But if you start it near one (gym, poke stop), then it works fine.

I think that's a glitch. It worked fine for me (same situation - it takes 2 miles to get urban enough to find pokemon or centers, but I can find them at that point)

@Toho: That sounds like a GPS tracking and update error. Something similar happened to me, except the opposite. I started with a stops-populated area and move to a place that I know to not have any, but the indicators still pop up and when I click on it, I get stuck with the infinite "loading" phase until I end the app process and relog in.

Oh, it's definitely a bug. Like when I caught a tentacruel earlier, and then the game hung and I did not receive it.

Don't know.
I will say there are limits, so assuming this game doesn't go out of style or fail, I think it will become rather balanced.
Also, taking pics of the plants and sky on my walks. When I have them online, I'll post them here if that's okay.
