Same here XD I love it when it's warm :) Not too hot and not to cold

Death by Mirrors 02-24-2017 08:27 AM

My body tends to heat up pretty fast, so other people's tropical paradise is my hellish inferno.

nyreen 02-24-2017 12:16 PM

There's a blanket mountain in here?!
-burrows into the blankets and becomes a blanket burrito -

Poggio 02-24-2017 12:20 PM

-nest besides the blanket burrito, sipping some lovey-dovey,fruity concoction-
Anybody home in there?

nyreen 02-24-2017 12:23 PM

- pops head out of blanket burrito - o uo
Hey there!

Poggio 02-24-2017 12:26 PM

0O0 It's alive!
XD How are you?

nyreen 02-24-2017 12:31 PM

I'm good, really sleepy though. ; A;
How are you? I haven't spoken to you for so long!

Poggio 02-24-2017 12:33 PM

Daw, but that is what comfy blankets are for ~u~ sleeping.

And good, very busy, but good. Mostly chilling since to day is my day off.

nyreen 02-24-2017 12:55 PM

Yeah, I may just blanket burrito later and take a nap haha.
I hope that you have a lovely day off! Any plans for the day?

Poggio 02-24-2017 01:11 PM

XD Does it count as a plan if you plan to do nothing?
Mostly I think I am debating if I should invest in a fitbit.
I also may go get some art supplies.

O: what time is it for you? Cause its only lunch for me.

nyreen 02-24-2017 01:12 PM

It's noon here! And yeah I suppose planning to do nothing is a plan haha. Getting art supplies sounds fun, what's fitbit?

Poggio 02-24-2017 01:20 PM

Its one of those fitness devices that tracks your steps and heart rate. Theoretically motive you to want to get active? I think. I like that it tracks your heart rate and reminds you to move.

XD Did you not sleep well last night?

Kaderin Triste 02-24-2017 02:18 PM

*yawn* *stretch*
*claws her way out of the blanket pile*
Soooo...how's it going in here today?

OOOO! okay, I had no idea!

Yeah I ended up going to bed pretty late and waking up early unintentionally. I couldn't get back to sleep so now I'm running really little sleep. ; A;

Poggio 02-24-2017 03:07 PM

@.@ I crashed so hard yesterday and ended up waking up early today. Will it be wise to take a nap?

Hello Triste! How's life?

Kaderin Triste 02-24-2017 03:54 PM

Hey, Poggio. Well, it seems like for for every tiny good thing that happens in my life, 2-3 bigger things go wrong so....life could be better. But I'm trying to just let go of the bad stuff.

nyreen 02-24-2017 05:48 PM

Sorry, I’m out now at a friends waiting for her to come home. I offered to clean her place for a party she’s hosting so I guess no blanket burrito for me until I go to bed haha. x)

Den 02-24-2017 09:29 PM

Let it be known that barometric pressure-related migraines suck. *flops on an unoccupied part of the blanket and pillow mountain* We got snow, eventually.

Kaderin Triste 02-24-2017 09:31 PM

Aww...that does sound awful, Den! Hope you can feel better soon.

Den 02-24-2017 10:11 PM

I took my usual measures for dealing with it: two Excedrin Migraine, and resting in the dark.

Kaderin Triste 02-24-2017 10:14 PM

That's usually a pretty good solution.

Den 02-25-2017 01:14 AM

I'm just glad I only get the sensitivity to light and certain sounds, and not the other symptoms.

dragoness129 02-25-2017 01:11 PM

Migraines are not fun. -hugs-

Den 02-25-2017 08:05 PM

The only thing that triggers migraines for me is barometric pressure anymore. I've managed to eliminate all the triggers that I have control over, so I'll take the occasional (maybe one every two to three months) migraine.

dragoness129 02-25-2017 09:31 PM

I don't know what triggers migraines for me.

It was a process of elimination for me. MSG was a big one for me, and once I stopped eating cup ramen, and stopped using the seasoning packet in the envelope packaged ramen, it helped. Also helped that I started reading ingredients lists.

Drinking more water helped, as did remembering to eat regularly. Reducing the amount of alcohol I consumed helped a LOT. Now, I only drink maybe twice a year, and usually only at new year's.

Stress has been one that took me awhile to get under control, and sometimes, if I get worked up, it'll come back with a vengeance. That one is a challenging one for pretty muchanyone, so if that one gives you trouble for awhile, don't worry.

Barometric pressure headaches were the only trigger I wasn't able to eliminate, because I can't control the weather.

dragoness129 02-25-2017 09:52 PM

I don't get them too often myself. My mom gets them more often than me.

Den 02-25-2017 10:11 PM

My brother used to get them a lot when we were younger. I used to get them a lot until I made the changes I talked about in my last post, and Mom... I honestly don't know how frequently or not she gets them. The woman had her wisdom teeth pulled, and tried to go back to work the same day because she felt fine.

dragoness129 02-25-2017 10:20 PM

I had my top two wisdom teeth pulled on February 1st and went to work later that day.

Den 02-25-2017 10:27 PM

o.0 You and my mom must be made of sterner stuff than me. I was so loopy after I had my wisdom teeth pulled that they had to bring me out in a wheelchair.

dragoness129 02-25-2017 10:30 PM

They just numbed my gums, nothing that would make me loopy.

Den 02-25-2017 10:33 PM

Ah. maybe that's why... I've always been really sensitive in my mouth, to the point where I had one dentist who ended up using nitrous and a lot of novacane to spare me agony and stress.

dragoness129 02-25-2017 10:36 PM

I wish they would have used some novacane. It would have been nice to be a bit loopy afterwards. I did take a nap before I had to go in to work and it helped.

Den 02-25-2017 11:10 PM

After the sedatives wore off, I had fun pain pills that would knock me the heck out in half an hour after taking them. so I spent a lot of the recovery time napping...

dragoness129 02-25-2017 11:14 PM

I went and got some pills for the pain filled, but I never took them.

Den 02-25-2017 11:25 PM

Dang, Dragoness. I mean, I can handle the pain of getting a new tattoo or piercing, but still...

dragoness129 02-25-2017 11:28 PM

My mouth didn't hurt, but it was a bit stiff.

Den 02-25-2017 11:41 PM

My mouth hurt. It hurt when I got a tooth extracted in 2014, too... but the only thing that would put a dent in the pain was 800mg ibuprofen tabs...

dragoness129 02-25-2017 11:42 PM

I guess it's cause I already had two different teeth extracted before. -shrugs-
I know my teeth are pretty bad.
