Sounds legit.

You've got two possible answers for #70.

Task 32

From EpiCurious

Quote:

YIELDYield: About 20 balls
INGREDIENTS

1 cup dried chickpeas
1/2 large onion, roughly chopped (about 1 cup)
2 tablespoons finely chopped fresh parsley
2 tablespoons finely chopped fresh cilantro
1 teaspoon salt
1/2-1 teaspoon dried hot red pepper
4 cloves of garlic
1 teaspoon cumin
1 teaspoon baking powder
4-6 tablespoons flour
Soybean or vegetable oil for frying
Chopped tomato for garnish
Diced onion for garnish
Diced green bell pepper for garnish
Tahina sauce
Pita bread
PREPARATION

Put the chickpeas in a large bowl and add enough cold water to cover them by at least 2 inches. Let soak overnight, then drain. Or use canned chickpeas, drained.

Place the drained, uncooked chickpeas and the onions in the bowl of a food processor fitted with a steel blade. Add the parsley, cilantro, salt, hot pepper, garlic, and cumin. Process until blended but not pureed.

Sprinkle in the baking powder and 4 tablespoons of the flour, and pulse. You want to add enough bulgur or flour so that the dough forms a small ball and no longer sticks to your hands. Turn into a bowl and refrigerate, covered, for several hours.

Form the chickpea mixture into balls about the size of walnuts, or use a falafel scoop, available in Middle-Eastern markets.

Heat 3 inches of oil to 375ºF in a deep pot or wok and fry 1 ball to test. If it falls apart, add a little flour. Then fry about 6 balls at once for a few minutes on each side, or until golden brown. Drain on paper towels. Stuff half a pita with falafel balls, chopped tomatoes, onion, green pepper, and pickled turnips. Drizzle with tahina thinned with water.

NOTE: Egyptians omit the cilantro and substitute fava beans for the chickpeas.

Like I said, I think there are two possible answers. The first possibility for the remaining two positions is marked with the two circles denoted by 1; the second is the circles with 2.

Blame Death by Mirrors <.<

Lee 08-06-2017 08:47 PM

Two more, and then I can do another!

Espy 08-06-2017 08:49 PM

I'm still staring at 71. What on earth is that even...

mdom 08-06-2017 09:06 PM

It's fancy handwriting. I can only identify one word...

Kaderin Triste 08-06-2017 09:08 PM

Part of me wants to say it's elvish, but it could just be a super hard to read font and/or a foreign language.

mdom 08-06-2017 09:09 PM

It's English xDDDDD

Kaderin Triste 08-06-2017 09:11 PM

But it's so much more fun if you pretend it's not...

Speed (for kids!)

A film about traffic safety.

People are riding the bus, but a bully doesn't like the bus and is trying to make them break speed limits. The drivers have to follow the rules to get everyone home!

mdom 08-06-2017 09:12 PM

Speed is R-rated???

I was when I first watched it. Is it not anymore?

EDIT: IMDb rates it as R.

mdom 08-07-2017 12:53 AM

Wow I'd put it as pg13 xDD I watched it as a kid.

Kaderin Triste 08-07-2017 01:00 AM

Standards were different when we were younger too, though.
R rated then IS like pg 13 these days.

mdom 08-07-2017 01:03 AM

Imagine a movie like 300. It'd be 35+ xD

Kaderin Triste 08-07-2017 01:19 AM

Lol
And Fifty Shades of Grey too probably.
XD
(Have never seen it, but I know the basic content.)

Same. First R rated movie I ever saw and I was *positive* that I wasn't allowed to watch it. I think the rating was entirely for that part in the beginning where the security guard gets stabbed in the side of the head.

There is some bad language too, somewhere, though I can't remember where.

Became one of my favourite films. :)

Yeah, I know. #18 has two possible answers at well, one could also add the letter g to make it gone. In any case of more than one possible answer, any of the correct answers will be counted.

It's not elvish. I did actually consider to make secret messages in elvish, klingon, gallifreyan or similar script, but this one is just old fancy handwriting.

Alright, onwards to the tasks.

32, by Den: I had to look up Tahina sauce, but the whole recipe sounds delicious. Freshly cooked, eh, minted coin will come to you soon.

38, by Kaderin Triste: Awesome! I see fame in this little fellow's future. I mean, there's already prehistoric posters too. *points to tsukiko's thread*

70, by Espy: Great job on posting both possible answers.

3, by mdom: Your discovery of old pictures will earn you a new coin.

73, by Quiet Man Cometh: Traffic safety is very important. I definitely recommend this educational film to schools in my area.

Sorry Den, but you're one too early. However if you guys all want to play more often, I could be bribed to lower the requirement to 4 people inbetween for everyone...

63, by Lee: That's 3/5 coral, 2/8 reindeer, 1/3 cow and 1/6 turtle.

Lee 08-07-2017 10:57 AM

I would love to play more often.

Death by Mirrors 08-07-2017 04:34 PM

Anyone else? Or would you rather maintain the current pace?

Kaderin Triste 08-07-2017 04:53 PM

You should drop it to 4 so I can count properly. XD

Death by Mirrors 08-07-2017 05:04 PM

Count to 13 in any language other than English and I'll drop it to 4. Go agents!

Kaderin Triste 08-07-2017 05:32 PM

Uno, dos, tres, cuatro, cinco, seis, siete, ocho, nueve, diez, once, doce, trese.

Or did you want me to record it?

Death by Mirrors 08-07-2017 05:40 PM

If that's supposed to be Spanish, then you still have a mistake and prove my point you can't count :p-cool:

And since you're so nicely giving me ideas: hell yes. Record it!

Kaderin Triste 08-07-2017 05:47 PM

It is Spanish and do I have a mistake? Where?

Will try to record it once the other employees at work leave...
