It is actually. But why is the model wearing those heels? That's not a beach sandal heel at all!

mdom 12-15-2017 10:05 PM

to be 'sexier' I guess <.<
a regular sandal would be ok, why do they have to overdo everything

Serra Britt 12-15-2017 10:08 PM

Heels are sexy? Since when? XD

And even if they are, they are not with swimsuits anyways :P

Den 12-15-2017 10:12 PM

High heels are uncomfortable as hell.

mdom 12-15-2017 10:13 PM

alledgedly they make people sexier by emphasizing the curves of the body
but yeah it also hurts too much and makes no sense in beachwear

Den 12-15-2017 10:14 PM

They're not for walking on any kind of natural terrain, that's for sure.

Serra Britt 12-15-2017 10:19 PM

They sure are not. I wear them once in a blue moon.

If that XD

MissK 12-15-2017 10:30 PM

*Lurkinggg* because not sure whats going on lol

Den 12-15-2017 10:31 PM

I need inserts when I wear mine. I only ever cosplayed one character that wore high heels, and I have never done it since. I made sure to design my female OCs with reasonable shoes. The one wears maybe one to one and a half inch heels on her boots because that is the highest pair I own, boots-wise. the other prefers flat boots or Chucks.

MissK, posts gotta have at least two words or they might be considered spam.

MissK 12-15-2017 10:38 PM

Ohh? I'm pretty new around here. Thanks for the tip.

Den 12-15-2017 10:46 PM

No worries. I kinda figured. ^_^

Serra Britt 12-15-2017 11:24 PM

Hello MissK, no worries, feel free to jump in on any conversation here not matter how weird.

We were just discussing how high heel shoes, while maybe nice, are in no way practical ever XD

tsukiko 12-15-2017 11:43 PM

i think i have a pair of spikey heels i got from the thrift store i worked at.

Mekatra 12-16-2017 12:26 AM

I have tried walking in heels exactly once and nearly died XD so... I am proud of you guys that can manage it even though they're actually terrible for your body.

Serra Britt 12-16-2017 12:38 AM

They are nice....sometimes. Stilettos are probably a bad idea always, but stuff with a decently wide heel isn't too bad.

Now if only I could find some I like that actually fit...and I don't know why I can't because I have a pretty average foot size. >_>

Den 12-16-2017 02:07 AM

What about foot width? That is a factor for me with shoes. I usually have to either go up half a size or get slightly costlier wide width shoes. My foot size is pretty average otherwise. Women's 9.5-10/Men's 7.5-8.

Serra Britt 12-16-2017 02:12 AM

No I have pretty thin feet, size 8.5-9 women's. Which I guess puts me at 6.5-7 men's, but I don't think people sell men's high heels anymore XD

Nah, I think the problem is that I'm picky, and I don't want to spend a lot. So the rare ones I find that I like, also at a price point I like, they just don't have the size for me.

Den 12-16-2017 03:22 AM

I know that feeling... I love going to DSW, but sometimes their clearance racks will have amazing shoes that are not available in the bigger sizes. :/

tsukiko 12-16-2017 09:53 PM

dsw? what's that?

Den 12-16-2017 10:08 PM

DSW = Designer Shoe Warehouse. They carry designer shoes and ALWAYS have racks and racks of clearance shoes in the back of the store.

Panda 12-17-2017 07:17 AM

That sounds tempting XD I'm a sucker for shoes.

mdom 12-17-2017 10:33 AM

Even those that hurt your feet? xD

Panda 12-17-2017 10:50 AM

Yassss :D I have a lot of high heels.

mdom 12-17-2017 11:26 AM

I go to them to weddings and stuff but then I'm always sitting down xDDD too painful.

tsukiko 12-17-2017 11:57 AM

ahhhh my shoes usually come from thrift stores LOL! the last pair i bought from a "real store" were my lems and that was online. my mom insisted i get a pair for work. they are really nice even if they are goofy looking xD i'd like to one day get a pair of their mary janes to go with my dresses

mdom 12-17-2017 12:29 PM

I'm an old person at heart and lately I've been buying from the same brand as my mom... a comfort-based one xD so they're not really pretty, but they don't cause calluses.

tsukiko 12-17-2017 01:12 PM

lems kinda make your feet look like duck feet cause they are bigger in the toe area to promote good toe posture? idk...but they are super comfy

mdom 12-17-2017 01:34 PM

Hmm I wonder if they're sold here... I already have duck feet xD

tsukiko 12-17-2017 01:38 PM

there are stores around the world and they do ship practically everywhere. but they are a pretty penny...and loads of ugly ones xD but they definitely helped with my feet hurting all the time.

mdom 12-17-2017 01:46 PM

/googles
ohhh a bit out of my range right now xD

dragoness129 12-17-2017 02:57 PM

My feet hurt all the time, but I don't wanna spend the money they want for the "good" types of shoes. So I deal with cheap Walmart ones. $20 for shoes is about my limit.

mdom 12-17-2017 04:27 PM

gotta do some good thrift store hunting!!

Serra Britt 12-17-2017 06:17 PM

I generally have to go with inexpensive shoes myself. I did get some beautiful, comfortable, warm winter boots from a thrift store. Spent more on them than I usually do for shoes but they are great!

mdom 12-17-2017 07:11 PM

Yay for comfy boots!

I don't have boots but it's never cold here so xD

Serra Britt 12-17-2017 09:41 PM

It is very cold here XD

mdom 12-17-2017 11:21 PM

like I find it super cool those long coats that go beyond the hip, but here... when can I use them xDDD

Den 12-17-2017 11:22 PM

most of my shoes are inexpensive. I honestly haven't spent more than $35 for a pair of shoes in almost five years...

Serra Britt 12-18-2017 01:21 AM

Same. I actually don't buy shoes very often at all. Even the nice boots were still on $28, it's just a lot more than I usually spend on shoes.

tsukiko 12-18-2017 02:47 AM

normally, i don't spend more than $30ish for shoes, but my mom bought the lems for my birthday and wouldn't take a no for an answer.

my winter boots i got from the goodwill bins (basically anything that doesn't sell and/or isn't good enough to be sold at the regular goodwill stores gets sent there) and you pay by the pound. i got them last year when they hadn't raised their prices slightly, so i got the shoes, a monster high doll, a he-man catra figure, and a couple other things for $3 total.

mdom 12-18-2017 11:36 AM

that's a good haul!!
I wish we had those around here <.<
