Two servings of mashed potatoes fly through the air and magically spell out 'error'. At first spectators are confused, but then they remember no player may target the same person twice in a row. Witchchylde, you can still go after KittyBeary with mashed potatoes later, if you wish - but to spread the feast fun, please throw at another person inbetween.

Tiva, remember twice at the same person without any other target inbetween is either harassment or a wedding proposal :p-evil:

Mashed potatoes are the trending ammunition of the moment: soft, squishy, and perfectly fitting into a spoon (or a ladle for those who want to sling more at once). Therefore mdom swings a huge portion at Kaderin Triste.

Kaderin Triste grabs a corn like a bat, showing her best baseball stance. Unfortunately the potatoes are soaked in gravy and therefore much too weak to withhold the hit with Kaderin's corn cob. Mashed potatoes splattered everywhere. Over her arms, her chest, her face... Kaderin decides to change her strategy and throw the bat at mdom instead, but mdom successfully dodges the cob of corn.

Another game is on, and Witchchylde decides to enter the sporting field with a corn cob. She swings it like a pro, looks around for a suitable target and discovers Kaderin Triste standing at the sideline. The corn cob misses her at first, but then whirls through the air like a bumerang.

Kaderin Triste knows she needs a good defense when she hears the corn cob coming. Thankfully an ammunition crate is nearby and so she grabs an artichoke. It is a bit rough and behaves oddly in the air, but Kaderin nevertheless believes in her abilities. She already feels triumphant when the corn misses her however, and so her aim is less than perfect.

mdom stumbles across the artichoke and remembers she already has some practice with that particular vegetable. Therefore she decides on yet another unbeatable target and tosses the artichoke as hard as she can.

Bonus Round!
Since some of you really enjoy throwing veggies at staff, now staff will strike back. Hope you already paid enough attention to pick the right defense ^^

Over time players have really gotten the hang of each individual vegetable's strengths and weaknesses. Witchchylde picks a handful of green beans since she knows they are hard to dodge. With a trebuchet made of a ladle, some branches and strings she flings them at MonBon.

But MonBon also knows her vegetables well, and so she counters the attack with the dreaded artichoke. A veggie that looks like it's wearing armor does not even need to avoid the beans, they simply bounce off its scales.

KittyBeary watches this game and now wants an artichoke of her own. She grabs the round, scale mailed ball and throws it at Derpy, who has also been known for throwing beans in the past. Sounds like a good plan. Or is it?

Derpy McBlueEyes adjusts his strategy however. He picks a corn cob and gets ready. The cob hits the ball and sends the artichoke flying in the air. Looks like a home run! The little dragon may be hungry from all the games now, but he sure knows how to win.

New Round!
Everyone starts again with a new ammunition pile of 5. Take note that the vegetables have been retired. New game, new foods.

Derpy McBlueEyes doesn't have to go hungry any longer. For his success at the food fight he wins an entire set of event items to eat, share or throw at friends!

The award for most foods thrown goes to... *drumroll* mdom, who may pick eight event items ^^

The last round sure has been a heated one, and so mdom knows the perfect strategy to help Witchchylde cool down: an ice cream cone aimed at her head. Unfortunately due to its shape the cone proves tricky to handle.

Witchchylde opts for a more traditional defense and throws back a braided loaf. She can aim her toss much better, and so both food items collide mid-air. The cone shatters on impact and mdom is hit with an ice cream covered loaf.

MonBon picks a player we haven't seen much of during the last round. Maybe a spicy taco is exactly what it takes to bring Quiet Man Cometh back into the game?

Meanwhile KittyBeary thinks mdom should have yet another treat. Can pies be thrown exactly like frisbees? KittyBeary is about to find out when she whirls that flying disc at her opponent.

mdom grabs the nearest thing she can, which happens to be a taco stuffed with some Thanksgiving leftovers. Of course any defense is better than not defending at all, but her choice proves tricky. Half of the stuffing falls out before even reaching KittyBeary.

KittyBeary however thinks tacos just need better airspeed velocity for great impact. So she grabs a fresh one and tosses it at Voidbarker as fast as she can.

Players get creative now. Witchchylde wants to experiment whether a secret ingredient makes her taco even better. Some fresh fish gives an old time fast food classic a new twist, and it hits KittyBeary unprepared. How will she react?

All those hours spent watching food channels have certainly given Tiva an advantage. Her braided loaf turns into a dragon mid air and adds just the right amount of magic to the food fight. With that it's no big surprise she scores the point.

Enter MissLlamaness, a newcomer to the game yet a talent to watch out for. She quickly picks a target and sure knows how to handle a braided loaf. It's a perfect toss! No dragon this time, but MissLlamaness shows even good traditional sports are a pleasure to watch.

Kaderin Triste hopes to cut the ammunition in half with a sharp pie, but even though she displays a talent for frisbee, all of a sudden the pastry cats come to life and start to nibble on the pie. Well, I suppose there was still some leftover magic lingering on the sporting field. Only a few crumbs hit MissLlamaness.

MonBon investigates where the source of magic comes from and decides on Tiva as the culprit. A tossed taco should be enough to prove whether or not there are supernatural forces at work.

Tiva is hit by the taco. Dizzy and confused she reaches into the wrong ammunition crate and wants to fling mashed potatoes at MonBon. The referee tells her to choose another food, or else the point will go to the attacking player.

KittyBeary wants to help. She decides to show Tiva what the current round's food selections look like by tossing her an odd roll. Tiva barely sees it coming and tries her best to dodge.

Witchchylde joins in the noble cause and throws a pie at Tiva, thus reminding her of yet another valid ammunition. Boston creme adds a nice touch and some extra flavour. Maybe that's one to catch instead - it would be a shame to have it go waste.

mdom contributes a braided loaf, and by having to evade yet another baked good, Tiva should be wide awake now. Or completely overwhelmed. But we know for certain everyone's favorite target won't have to go hungry today.

Meanwhile, another game has started. MonBon gracefully shares her ice cream with Witchchylde by tossing the cone halfway over the field. Witchchylde tries her best to catch the frozen treat, but will she?

KittyBeary digs deep into the ammunition crate and finds another braided loaf. She secretly hopes this one will also turn into a dragon when she throws it at MonBon. There must be a bit of magic left, right?
