Some flavored sparkling water is okay. Especially when you need something cold.

I also like nitro cold brew coffee. The foaminess actually does bring out different flavors.

mdom 08-15-2019 10:03 PM

Just sparkling water vs pure water I mean xD

Gallagher 08-15-2019 10:04 PM

espy's a gamer?

Derpy McBlueEyes 08-15-2019 10:15 PM

Derpy hops up onto the counter.
"I can have latte pwease?"

I can only ever do cold-brew, and even that gives me some anxiety, due to how poorly my stomach handles coffee.

One latte, coming right up! ...You want a tiny bit of chocolate with that?

mdom 08-15-2019 10:33 PM

I'll want a rambutan milkshake pls

Espy 08-16-2019 01:20 AM

Dunno how good that's gonna be, but I could probably make one :|

Merskelly Metalien 08-16-2019 01:32 AM

Do you got any,
<.<

…
<w<
drinking water?

Derpy McBlueEyes 08-16-2019 01:34 AM

Derpy perks up a little. "Chocowate? Yes pwease!"

Espy 08-16-2019 02:12 AM

<I am back. There was business I had to attend to.>

<Would you like ice? I could also add a couple slices of lemon. Or lime.>

<Here you go. One latte. With chocolate. And a complimentary donut. I seem to remember you like those.>

Merskelly Metalien 08-16-2019 02:14 AM

8o What's this?? Water, w-with free fruit too?! :D I'll have both!

Derpy McBlueEyes 08-16-2019 02:15 AM

"CRT's back! Hi!" Derpy gives CRT's wrist a quick hug. "Tank you!" He settles down in the middle of the counter and munches on the donut while letting the latte cool slightly.

Espy 08-16-2019 02:15 AM

I generally grab a couple slices of lemon whenever possible because water's free and lemonade's... not. Also, I hate drinking plain water, even iced.

-awkwardly pats Derpy-

<Isn't my wrist... a little cold?>

Merskelly Metalien 08-16-2019 02:18 AM

>:D It'll also add color to the clear water and taste, hehe! Thank you. ^-^

Derpy McBlueEyes 08-16-2019 02:20 AM

"Dat's okay...you should get hugs too....unless...you don't want them?"
Derpy looks a little worried.

Espy 08-16-2019 02:23 AM

...

...-bzzts quietly in thanks-

OOC, I don't particularly like hugs, though. Physical contact is, uh, not my thing.

Derpy McBlueEyes 08-16-2019 02:28 AM

Derpy takes all the information in and thinks for a moment.
"High-five instead? Is that better?"

Espy 08-16-2019 02:34 AM

-makes a weird buzzing sound somewhat reminiscent of laughter-

<Hey, Derpy. Want to see something cool?>

-holds up both index fingers and arcs a bit of electricity between them-

Derpy McBlueEyes 08-16-2019 02:36 AM

"Wooooaaaahhhhh! That is cool!"

Merskelly Metalien 08-16-2019 02:45 AM

*respectfully types out something on a mini typewriter with a 'ding' at the end and gives paper to the CRT* -u-
*it reads "This CRT is doing a great job."*

Espy 08-16-2019 03:38 AM

<...Just because I can't *speak* doesn't mean I can't *hear*, you know. Nevertheless, thank you.>

Death by Mirrors 08-16-2019 07:03 AM

Don't discourage Merskelly from using a typewriter. I'm amazed people these days still know what it is... and it makes me smile whenever someone uses vintage machinery.

Stabbsworth 08-16-2019 07:54 AM

typewriters are lovely for the aesthetic, but a pain in the arse if you make a spelling mistake.

Death by Mirrors 08-16-2019 09:00 AM

True. Or whenever that color band thingy rips apart, which happens occasionally with my old typewriter. Still love it though.

Stabbsworth 08-16-2019 10:57 AM

huh. i think my mum had a typewriter at some point.

also, apparently the max amount of tickets you can buy is 25. you have to exit out of the window and buy another 25 if you want 50.

Kaderin Triste 08-16-2019 11:33 AM

My family used to have both a really old typewriter and also a more modern electric typewriter, which was loud AF, but was good for typing up papers for school before we could afford a computer...as long as you were very careful. It wasn't the best at erasing, so it was easier to just start the whole page over. Otherwise you had to pull the page out, use white-out, then try to get the page back in perfect alignment.

Veshora 08-16-2019 11:59 AM

Our family's modern one was decent at erasing, but I still like the really old one better my mom once got me for my birthday - even though it was a pain in the butt to operate, the typed pages would look so much more unique. The modern (which nowadays belongs to my aunt) had a typeface that was almost resembling standard computer font.

mdom 08-16-2019 01:08 PM

We only have an old one |D
Impossible to erase

Merskelly Metalien 08-16-2019 01:12 PM

ouo *changes in new paper and rolls it down continuing the tippy taps on typewriter keys* I have no idea what I'm doing. xD We don't even own a typewriter anymore.

mdom 08-16-2019 01:24 PM

http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-fXjlBu0aSb...iter+4d0_o.jpg

you can get a chromatic typewriter

Merskelly Metalien 08-16-2019 01:25 PM

Ohh perfect! :D I can type letters to those who only understand colors! Like birds, and cars..oh, and octopi! x}

Kaderin Triste 08-16-2019 01:27 PM

That is so pretty and I want it!
O.o

mdom 08-16-2019 01:30 PM

Don't waste the typewriter on cars xDD

Merskelly Metalien 08-16-2019 01:38 PM

<x) Not even this car?

Espy 08-16-2019 03:21 PM

Never had a typewriter. Or a gramophone. Oooor any record player, actually.

Kaderin Triste 08-16-2019 03:26 PM

I've never had a gramophone, but we always had a basic record player growing up (usually the kind that was a combo stereo system with a tape deck, radio, and more recently, cd player built in. In fact, I think my dad still has the first one we had when I was really little and it has an 8-track player in it.

But as an adult, I do not own any of that stuff yet. Though I would like to invest in a simple turntable eventually.

Say, I'm just curious how old you are - 30 years old here (1989). Just curious whenever I see people talk about this kind of stuff! :D

Kaderin Triste 08-16-2019 06:33 PM

Lol. I'm 31.

Major 08-16-2019 06:56 PM

Yay! I feel less like an old lady now!

[stands up]

[ENTIRE SPINE HURTS]

Okay, disregard that last statement. |D

Kaderin Triste 08-16-2019 07:05 PM

So fun fact, my dad has always had jobs where he's spent basically the whole day on his feet so when he'd finally sit down at the end of the day his feet would stiffen up and when he'd have to get up, he always sort of limp/hobbled until they relaxed a bit and I thought it was so funny to watch.

But yeah. That happens to me now. Especially if I have bad insoles in my shoes. It's not funny anymore.
