Biomecha 09-17-2019 07:37 PM

Death by Mirrors 09-17-2019 07:50 PM

it's um...yarn? i'm just really bad at knitting is all

Death by Mirrors 09-17-2019 08:00 PM

Bless. I feel the sudden urge to cite my friend Margie on this.

"Wait till your my age. Your yarn will have it's own room, with a guest bed there, ‘just in case’ someone visits. Note I didn't say a guest room with YARN ….I said a Yarn room with a guest bed."

Gallagher 09-18-2019 01:45 AM

y'all ever think about circles

littl3chocobo 09-18-2019 01:47 AM

why would you ask such a naughty question? circles are for the bedroom

Den 09-18-2019 03:46 AM

Circles are also useful in knitting.

Stabbsworth 09-18-2019 11:58 AM

ah, the scalene circle.

Den 09-18-2019 06:53 PM

Circular knitting needles, Double-Pointed needles... both essential for knitting in the round.

Stabbsworth 09-18-2019 07:16 PM

ah, the scalene needle.

anyone know about wool felting?

Death by Mirrors 09-18-2019 07:21 PM

I tried it once and made a flower. A very floppy flower.

Den 09-18-2019 07:22 PM

I know a little. I know how to needlefelt, and I know how to felt wool in the washing machine, and how to hand-felt...

Stabbsworth 09-18-2019 07:23 PM

stabbing wool sounds like a pain in the ass to some. to me, i think it sounds therapeutic.

Den 09-18-2019 07:26 PM

Yeah. Cross stitch and embroidery are similar. :3

Stabbsworth 09-18-2019 07:28 PM

yeah, i was into cross-stitch a while ago. i think i went to a club for the stuff when i was ten, and cross-stitched a little banana, which couldn't be laminated because i apparently fucked up the back really badly.

mdom 09-18-2019 08:26 PM

I think it's witchcraft you stab something and then it becomes something else...

Stabbsworth 09-18-2019 08:26 PM

no, no, that's advanced necromancy. it accelerates the rotting of flesh.

mdom 09-18-2019 08:38 PM

Oh, I always get confused, so many types of magic...I'm a poor bard

Stabbsworth 09-18-2019 08:40 PM

littl3chocobo 09-19-2019 01:12 AM
