i have a blocked ear and people keep making milkshakes hard to open. i also left a fair bit of shampoo on my hair and it's going to leave a residue, probably. which is going to be a pain in the ass.

am probably gonna need to take another bath for that and that's going to be a pain in the ass because then i have to relocate my laptop downstairs because i only like using it downstairs and i hate having wet hair and being wet in general.

nyargh.

anyways. MALK.

:/ MMmmh, woulda been a good idea. All that apple cider is gonna be locked on by everybody as soon as Christmas begins.

<Fair enough.>

And I hope not. Maybe I'll drop by later today to pick some up.

Ew, milkshakes :| Help yourself, though.

Yeah, I seem to have a habit of accidentally leaving conditioner residue in my hair. My ear's been kind of fucky lately and I'm not sure if it's related to my sinuses also being fucky.

...I like showers and baths and water in general. Coupled with the fact that I feel very much at home near the sea, I sometimes get jokingly asked by my friends if I'm sure I'm not like... half merfolk or something.

Stabbsworth 12-22-2019 04:56 PM

dangit.

i just don't like bathing much bc, y'know. it takes up too much energy and as someone with depression / various undiagnosed bullshittery of a mental shenanigans, it takes energy.

strawbebby malk

Merskelly Metalien 12-22-2019 05:05 PM

:] *leans on the bar*
High fives are meant as a gesture of social acceptance, approval, encouragement and inclusion,
by means of a friendly and harmless mutual striking of palms together,
-u- resulting in a short sharp sound.
They are mostly unnecessary for survival, but are helpful in maintaining positive social interaction which is necessary for all needs above the basic physiological needs.

Stabbsworth 12-22-2019 05:13 PM

gestures in an excessively vague manner

am very tired. inevitably.

malk.

Merskelly Metalien 12-22-2019 05:14 PM

<:/ Poor lad.
*places a tiny plush cow on Barker's head*

Stabbsworth 12-22-2019 05:14 PM

steals the plush
inevitably
and goes back to playing dst

Derpy McBlueEyes 12-22-2019 05:23 PM

"Oh hi Merskewwy! You want a smore?" Derpy nudges one over.

Stabbsworth 12-22-2019 05:27 PM

beeps softly in the distance, inevitably.

gets into the nearest box.

<:] Aww, no thank you Derpy. ^-^ But you're very sweet for offering! *wiggles feet*

Derpy McBlueEyes 12-22-2019 05:42 PM

Derpy giggles and turns toward Voidbarker's faint beeping.
"Want a smore?" He offers loudly, holding one out.

Stabbsworth 12-22-2019 06:05 PM

unfortunately not.

i do appreciate the offer, though.

Death by Mirrors 12-22-2019 06:21 PM

I'd take one, Derpy.

Also, what's the current bribe offer for not licking the bar?

I was going to get a large bottle of spiced apple cider yesterday from the nearby Trader Joe’s, but I didn’t want to walk home carrying a half-gallon of liquid, so.

Sorry I wasn't there to lend you my wheeled walker. The basket under the bench seat is mighty convenient when there's heavy stuff I couldn't otherwise transport.

Derpy McBlueEyes 12-22-2019 06:31 PM

"Hi Death!" Derpy cheerfully offers a smore.
"I dunno about the bwibe..."

Death by Mirrors 12-22-2019 06:37 PM

That's okay, Derpy. I can't lick the bar while I'm talking to you anyways. Got to be some good role model to young dragons or something.

Merskelly Metalien 12-22-2019 06:40 PM

This ice bar is cold as...>:/ my hands!

Death by Mirrors 12-22-2019 06:40 PM

And it's warm as my heart.

Kaderin Triste 12-22-2019 09:12 PM

Aha! So this is where Derpy escaped to! No more sugar, Derpy!

Hmmm, but I could go for a quad-shot eggnog latte...

Well, it's your fault if your tongue gets stuck, so...

Hrm... honestly, wouldn't have been too difficult for me to carry a bottle of cider home, but there's a pretty steep slope in certain areas of the walk home, and it would have been bad if the bottle got away from me.

Den 12-23-2019 03:50 AM

Next day or so is gonna be bonkers on my end. Last-minute travel prep, actually traveling, and just remembering to breathe...

Espy 12-23-2019 05:04 AM

Bleh. Sounds familiar.

Death by Mirrors 12-23-2019 07:19 AM

Pffft. Derpy got free hot chocolate with marshmallows as a distraction instead.
Being an adult is lame.

mdom 12-23-2019 11:16 AM

I'd like a cup of ice with extra ice in it, please

Stabbsworth 12-23-2019 01:06 PM

ah, yes, the old trick of just waiting for water.

mdom 12-23-2019 01:23 PM

People who chew on ice swear it's different from water for some reason

Stabbsworth 12-23-2019 02:24 PM

why though
it probably won't be that different.

mdom 12-23-2019 02:58 PM

Yeah I guess they just like to chew
but people who like it
like, love it

Hrm... does that color work better for CRT, I wonder...

Water melted from freezer ice cubes does taste different from normal tap water.

Stabbsworth 12-23-2019 04:49 PM

ice is just solid water.

Espy 12-23-2019 06:52 PM

sure but it still tastes different :|

Biomecha 12-23-2019 07:03 PM

I think it has to do with absorbing things from the air in the freezer?

Espy 12-23-2019 07:20 PM

Hmm. That’s probably right.

Merskelly Metalien 12-23-2019 08:06 PM

:/ Oof! Did I specify if I wanted cold cinnamon tea or hot cinnamon tea??; <~<;

Espy 12-23-2019 08:21 PM

<I assumed hot.>

Merskelly Metalien 12-23-2019 08:35 PM

:] Mmmyes, that. Hot tea. Yes please. *nod*

mdom 12-23-2019 08:43 PM

*licks ice*

thank u, ChRisTmas

Den 12-23-2019 09:05 PM

I'm torn between making hot tea and getting my coffee maker back downstairs and using that to make coffee.

Biomecha 12-23-2019 10:17 PM

Brew tea with the brewed coffee?

Lawtan 12-23-2019 11:41 PM

*flies in from the cold, drops a well-insulated Adrian von Zeigler jacket onto Espy*

...Hmm...could I get a Roy G Biv tea?
