Oh wow.
That sounds nice.

It went from t-shirt weather to big jacket here. >.>
Very odd for it to do that. x.x;

femme gauche 11-28-2010 04:58 PM

Did that too, but then it mellowed out a bit. :3.

Airu 11-28-2010 04:59 PM

Nice. :3

Have you gotten any snow at all?

femme gauche 11-28-2010 05:00 PM

No not yet, although it has been in the forecast a couple of times. We got rain instead. Snow often doesn't come until late December.

Airu 11-28-2010 05:02 PM

Ah.. -nods-

So your winter hasn't been all different than normal? xD

Ours has. -.-;;
Last year was only three days of snow. Normally get at least three months.
Then snow decides to come early this year.

Angel Spirit Girl 11-28-2010 05:02 PM

We have just had frost so far.

Snow will come in a few weeks probably.

femme gauche 11-28-2010 05:04 PM

Yeah, we had frost a bit. Yeah we had an odd winter a couple years ago; it was in the 70s and 60s through December, and then hit a really really cold (re: below zero or in the single digits, schools closed because of the temperature) snap.

Airu 11-28-2010 05:08 PM

Hm..

I gotta go clean house and what not.
-Flees-

femme gauche 11-28-2010 05:10 PM

Haha, toodles.

Angel Spirit Girl 11-28-2010 05:32 PM

I was distracted by laundry and other avatar sites.

Jawsh 11-28-2010 06:09 PM

-noms on doughnut-

Angel Spirit Girl 11-28-2010 06:16 PM

*Sniffs for doughnuts.*

femme gauche 11-28-2010 06:25 PM

Mmmm, chai latte.

I used to not like chai, but now I find it super yummy.

Angel Spirit Girl 11-28-2010 06:35 PM

Chi sounds nice. I don't have it much, though. It's a bit expensive.

femme gauche 11-28-2010 06:40 PM

We had a box of chai tea bags from celestial seasonings. Not sure where it was purchased; we have a lot of tea bought at Big Lots. All I did was brew a cup's worth of tea and add some milk and sugar.

Angel Spirit Girl 11-28-2010 06:48 PM

Ah! A good answer to Starbucks' big bucks.

femme gauche 11-28-2010 06:52 PM

Really I wanted some hot chocolate, but we don't have any so I just made that as a suitable alternative. And I do love starbucks or any specialty coffee place because really... you can't have enough sweets. At least, I can't.

Angel Spirit Girl 11-28-2010 07:19 PM

Oh! Yes. Starbucks is great for sweets. ^^

Jawsh 11-28-2010 08:13 PM

-rolls through thread-

Angel Spirit Girl 11-28-2010 08:25 PM

*Rolls saucer after roller.*

femme gauche 11-28-2010 09:51 PM

lmao, well isn't that lovely.

Hulllo again Jawsh. Well... awhile ago. Haha. I made some brownies. Box mix. But I made the frosting from scratch according to a betty crocker recipe. It was runny but yummy. I refridgerated it.

Angel Spirit Girl 11-28-2010 09:54 PM

Brownies are yummy. ^.^

femme gauche 11-28-2010 09:55 PM

Yes, quite yummy. I don't like cooking, though. Baking takes patience, but cooking makes me nervous.

Jawsh 11-28-2010 09:59 PM

-rolled over- x.x

I love to bake 8D~
But patience is a necessity...especially when things start going not as planned xD;

Angel Spirit Girl 11-28-2010 10:02 PM

I'm not usually in the mood to cook, but I do like baking Christmas cookies.

femme gauche 11-28-2010 10:05 PM

Yeah I like to bake. I sit there and pace in the kitchen and take things out before they're ready... xD.

Jawsh 11-28-2010 10:06 PM

Mmm <3
I want to try making maracons. Maybe I will for Christmas.

femme gauche 11-28-2010 10:09 PM

I've made buche de noel a few times.

Jawsh 11-28-2010 10:11 PM

We had one of those one year o: I think my sister made it though.

femme gauche 11-28-2010 10:14 PM

In high school French class, we could get extra credit for making it. No one ate it (unless we decided to contribute it to the christmas Fete) so we got to take them home.

Jawsh 11-28-2010 10:17 PM

Yummm~
I made flan for my Spanish class once for open house or whatever. I just dropped it off and left, so I dunno if anyone ate it or not.

femme gauche 11-28-2010 10:17 PM

You didn't have class or anything? xP.

Jawsh 11-28-2010 10:19 PM

It was after school hours xD We still had class earlier that day.

femme gauche 11-28-2010 10:21 PM

Oh XD. We ate ours during class hours.

Angel Spirit Girl 11-28-2010 10:24 PM

Sounds like a fun class session. ^^

Jawsh 11-28-2010 10:25 PM

I dunno why I did it though, it was only a couple points, and I had an A+ in the class anyway. xD

femme gauche 11-28-2010 10:25 PM

Yup definitely. One of the perks of language classes; ethnic foods.

Jawsh 11-28-2010 10:27 PM

We never did anything in class though. ;; Though I don't need to go far to get Mexican food. xD

femme gauche 11-28-2010 10:30 PM

French class was dominated by desserts. My favorite! There would be like, potatoes au gratin, and like... a dozen desserts. German had some good stuff too.

Jawsh 11-28-2010 10:31 PM

Potatoes au gratin is good... we had boeuf bourguignon for Christmas dinner one year, that was good too. <3
German food I'm not a big fan of, though I do like sausage.
