I usually write short stories...spooky/horror short stories.
right now, I'm thinking of a good spooky short story ^^

Aiko 05-21-2011 05:11 PM

I am currently having a writer's block over the yaoi fiction I was trying to write D: *Dies*

Batty 05-21-2011 05:47 PM

I've been working on a few novels for a LONG time.

I had one almost complete, and then I chucked it, because I came up with a better idea. And then again, and again, and again. xDD; I used to write poems when I was in high school, but... I don't know. They got really, really cheesy, so I just kind of stopped.

I'm big into role playing and character creating, though!

Madam Kira 05-22-2011 11:40 AM

I started off with just poetry, then short stories, and right now I'm working on my first novel.
I'm also writing fanfiction, though I'm on a writers block for that. x.x

Ashley 05-22-2011 01:26 PM

I like writing poetry and short stories. My short stories usually involve my OC Luna.

Fizzyology 05-23-2011 06:11 PM

This reminds me I really ought to start writing my fanfictions again, I'm afraid my fans are going to hunt me down and murder me lol

Anonymous Kitsune 05-25-2011 12:50 AM

I write but its more of poetry of thoughts of mine, which i dont like sharing. :/

Hiccup 06-01-2011 09:44 PM

I love short stories, now and again ideas come to me and I try to put them to use. I'm finding it difficult however, to hold onto any one theme. I hope everyone else can focus better, and I reckon with a hammer to my head I could achieve some sense of coordination of thought. I love the short story films I see getting recognized at the Oscars every year. It's inspiring, God-willing, I'd love to be part of a team that can play with adaptation.

Quiet Man Cometh 06-02-2011 09:59 PM

I'm curious to hear about your progress on NaNoWriMo Alex, if you dont mind sharing.

For myself, just wrote a wee piece of Trisphee fanfiction for the contest, which it seems might be longer than I thought it was so I may try for another one. I was just trasfering some of my poetry re-writes into my books (I keep all my poems in one place), and I'm considering writing a brief anecdote about some canine misadventures we had yesterday, just for fun. I'm a short writer so little things are more likely to occupy my time.

I haven't been writing much but Suzerain's group story is making me interested. But then again 25 words at a time is easy for me when my lack of motivation strikes ><

I should try this with my actual writing... seeing as my current is pace 0 words for weeks at a time. :|

Quiet Man Cometh 06-02-2011 10:38 PM

Suzerain is being generous. I started a similar story in another forum that only allowed for 10 words per post. Part of the idea was to see how much a few word could affect a story. That one went some odd places.

Hokan-jin 11-07-2011 08:50 PM

I love writing poems as they are an idea that canbe put down on paper without anything having to be stretched. I find when trying to write longer stories or ideas they seem forced with extra fluff and padding. In poetry you can get a point or thought across without worrying about an ending chapter:)

Kali_Namir 11-08-2011 08:43 PM

I used to write poems and fanfiction, but more recently I've been trying to write a book, although that's not going very far or well.

Leirana 11-09-2011 07:07 PM

I usually write fantasy and occasionally realistic fiction. It would be nice to write non-fiction or historical fiction, but it seems like too much work ><

Arikana 11-10-2011 04:19 PM

I don't really write as much as I used to, but when I'm bored I tend to work on fanfictions for a little bit before I move on to do something else. >_>;;

Ishu 11-10-2011 07:25 PM

I'm currently co-writing a Fallout: New Vegas fanfiction. ^^

Drakath 11-20-2011 04:25 PM

I started to write an original story. Not much to say about it yet though, I'm sort of still planning it.

Desserts 12-11-2011 10:08 AM

I haven't wrote anything In a long time since I stop trying to come up with manga Ideas lol.

Foxy 12-13-2011 10:24 PM

Fantasy is always my favorite but it all depends on my mood. :)

Hera 12-13-2011 10:28 PM

I haven't written anything in a long long while...I think the last time I actually sat down and wrote anything was a poem and that was 6-7 years ago D=

kyOMG 12-19-2011 05:03 PM

I write fanfiction and Poetry. Whenever I do write with original characters, it tends to be mature >.>;;

I just started writing a kpop fanfiction. It's a horror/romance type thing. I've been watching too much Vampire Diaries.

Bafflebox 12-19-2011 06:22 PM

I'm getting into writing science fiction and fantasy things! I'm actually working on something in a thread here (First Paragraphs) called Indigo. I'm not very good at writing yet, but you know, I've only just started taking a serious interest. ^-^

I should learn about writing short stories, though, for more practice.
*scuttles off to read up*

DarkForbidden-Love 12-20-2011 12:41 PM

I haven't been writing much lately. I've done some beta pieces and continued on with my one horror story that spent 5 years in the making. I've been doing a bit of RPing to, trying to get back into writing but most of my attempts have fallen flat.
Poetry has pretty much halted even "Rotations" which I normally update at least once a week.

People have tried to interest me in round-robins of Fanfiction but most of those never got past the first chapter. So I'm in a writing rut right now.

Zenella 12-22-2011 05:44 AM

Working on random drabbles (fanfiction and original) and also working on my first book. I'm going for a supernatural (mostly werewolf) theme but I'm planning on it being DIFFERENT. ;D

I am having troubles getting all my thoughts down in actual words, but I'm hoping that will clear up soon.

☪ஐﻬ☽ I agree with this completely. I have a hard time
holding a pen and it's hard to write when I need
to.

Personally I write poems mostly about a range of
subjects and I'm trying to write a fiction book
about a clock.

Wrote a couple oddball poems when I was away on Christmas holidays. Not working on much else besides my three folders of half-finished pieces that I rotate through when I feel like it.

I've been inspired to write something sword and sorcery style lately. Unfortunately, I have no idea what. Short story of course. That's more or less what I do.

Alpha 01-04-2012 02:46 AM

I tend to dabble in some mini-stories based off of games I play or books I read. Nothing that I really keep up with regularly, just whenever I get the urge to or get a really interesting idea.

DarkForbidden-Love 01-04-2012 10:07 AM

I back to writing a bit but I have a novel dead-line coming up. (Self-inposed so I actually write, not for a publishing firm) I'm mostly working on the novel but I'm back in the groove for poems and such. Forget not the broken heart, seek not the lost and weary. ;)

Quiet Man Cometh 01-04-2012 11:39 PM

My inspiration is still present but fails me, so I'm working on projects here. Dug out an old short piece that I wrote a few years back. Think I might polish it up and see if a magazine somewhere likes it.
