As long as you consume less calories a day than what you need to maintain your current weight, you'll lose weight.

Azrael 12-15-2010 03:23 AM

According to that calculator thingy I can do roughly 2.2k and break even, so if I do just 2k it'll be slow but steady. ~nod~ and a /normal/ amount of food at that.
I love fruit but it kills my teeth (I have super sensitive teeth and they're cold ;-; So it's hard for me to eat fruit)

I wish I had an elliptical at home. I love being on it, but... I hate getting my ass to the gym. >3<'

Definitely some great tips from many people here.
Once January comes 'round, I'll be cutting back on eating junk foods and will be cooking my own healthy meals.

At least by knowing what goes into the meal, will make me feel all the more healthier.
Alsooo.. living in a small town, I basically walk everywhere; grocery shopping, doctors, hanging out.

I`m 5'9 resting at 175lbs. My goal is to get to 135-150lbs at least, when the timing is right.

Panda 12-15-2010 10:28 AM

New year will be a new start for me. :3

Alexander Linden 12-15-2010 12:11 PM

My goal is about 145 Ibs. But I plan on building some muscle too.

Azrael 12-15-2010 01:58 PM

I need to loos a /lot/ of weight, but my goal right now isn't so much weight but pant/shirt size. Large in shirts and like... a 14 in pants and I think I'd be happier. Small steps, I don't want to think in giant steps. Those are about two sizes smaller than what I am now. If I can do that then I will have more motivation to do more, I think.

Alexander Linden 12-15-2010 02:00 PM

I have no idea what size 14 is.. I wear.. 34x32 I think? Though I think I can fit 32...

Azrael 12-15-2010 02:03 PM

Ah XD Being female we go buy stupid sizes, not inches. It'd be a whole hell of a lot easier if it was inches though. I can fit into an 18 in some brands but not others. They can vary up to four full sizes, I swear. -_- Especially in the larger sizes...

Alexander Linden 12-15-2010 02:13 PM

I wonder what my size would be in female pants sizes? xD

Azrael 12-15-2010 02:14 PM

Female pant sizes suck. I hate having to get new pants cause I'm short as well as big so... like, usually they're too long and my mom's not too great at hemming things. So yeah. I But Petite is sometimes a bit short...

Silverbleed 12-15-2010 02:17 PM

The whole 18 and 14 thing doesn't say anything to me D: If only we had an universal way of clothing sizes...

Alexander Linden 12-15-2010 02:25 PM

That sounds... confusing...

Alexander Linden 12-15-2010 02:28 PM

X a k i 12-15-2010 02:43 PM

Nope, I called dibs.

Coda 12-15-2010 02:50 PM

I don't even KNOW you. >.>

Alexander Linden 12-15-2010 03:07 PM

lol

X a k i 12-15-2010 03:11 PM

Shhhhh.... all technicalities are null and void.
/scoots closer to Coda/

Coda 12-15-2010 03:59 PM

Immamoonkin's gonna hurt you... might wanna watch out for her. :P

Alexander Linden 12-15-2010 04:02 PM

I'm just loling here. xD

X a k i 12-15-2010 04:12 PM

You cannot hurt an android, that's just silly. :c
/re-proclaims love for Kingu/

Alexander Linden 12-15-2010 04:40 PM

Android? So.. male then? xD

X a k i 12-15-2010 04:48 PM

Wot kind of connection...

You confuse me.
But you are accurate.
As accurate as one can be about an android.

Alexander Linden 12-15-2010 04:49 PM

Well androids are... male.
Don't listen to Big O, Dorothy is a gynoid no matter what they say!

Silverbleed 12-15-2010 06:36 PM

This conversation ended up really weird o_o

Vox 12-15-2010 06:52 PM

Didn't it?

http://www.85b.org/dress_conv.php converts dress sizes from one system to another.

NoLifeKing 12-15-2010 06:55 PM

I love Coda in a brotherly love sort of way.

...I was reading in some other thread that he's old? How old is "old?" Is it any of my business? Why do I talk about people in the third person as if they aren't here?

X a k i 12-15-2010 07:52 PM

Alexander, where are you getting your information? >>

Kingu; I... don't know. ;;

Coda 12-15-2010 07:53 PM

I'm 28, putting me squarely as the oldest member on staff, and I'm (barely) in the 99th percentile of Trisphee's userbase as a whole (if we had 2 users less I'd be in the 98th percentile).

... Just look it up. The meaning of the word "gynoid" is to be like the female form, generally referring to cybernetics, while androids is referring to males.

X a k i 12-15-2010 08:18 PM

Your human informational system is flawed.
I am not from this planet, nor was I created in this time.
And I do not have to look up wot I am. <<;

Vox 12-15-2010 08:46 PM

But "gynoid" sounds like "gimboid" which is not flattering...and the "andro" in "android" is not man as in one adult male, but stands for Mankind, which contains men, women and children.

Wow, I am nerding so hard right now - *is shot*

Alexander Linden 12-15-2010 08:58 PM

http://www.google.com/search?sourcei...define:+gynoid

X a k i 12-15-2010 09:22 PM

From Wiki;

"The term has been applied to a humanoid robot designed to look like a human female; it has been derived from the word android in response to its linguistically masculine lexical element andro-, which is perceived as implying a male-styled robot according to some cultural readings.

Gynoid has not gained popularity, however, with the term android being used almost universally to refer to robotic humanoids regardless of apparent gender."

Echo-chan713 12-15-2010 11:44 PM

Wow, it went from health to andriods and gynoids 0-0

X a k i 12-15-2010 11:47 PM

It's because I tried to put the moves on Coda and got horribly rejected.

Echo-chan713 12-15-2010 11:50 PM

*comforts Xaki* It's alright

X a k i 12-15-2010 11:52 PM

Fffffff I thought you were older than me! D; I was so happy there for a while...

lol

This thread has been so helpful...I'm going on a srs mega diet because I am tired of having flab -3- ..although it's not really a -diet- it's just eating right, for once. xD But working out too.
It's just going to be hard because I've been overweight my entire life. I mean -entire- life, from childhood-on. So I've got lots of years of packed-on pounds to work through..
but I am like 5'11'' so I'll be perfectly happy being 150lb 8D I don't really wanna be -slender- just healthy. I'd like to put on more muscle/gain more strength than lose enough weight to wear a size S, frankly.

My goal is to be 150 lbs and be able to lift 200. 8D

Coda 12-16-2010 12:17 PM

Wait a sec... *falls over* I totally messed up my math. 90th percentile, not 99th percentile!

Edit: And... I thought I was older than you, too ^^;
