My idea is this:

There is a Game that has been gaining a lot of popularity. However, those that join warn others not to get involved in it for reasons unknown to anyone outside the game. The truth is that the game is very dangerous for all those involved in it.

First a text message is received, welcoming you into the Game. A week goes by and you notice that the shadows are becoming more real... more solid. At the end of the week, the monsters are terrifying and you wonder if you're hallucinating or dreaming. Another text message arrives, welcoming you to the Game. The sun is going down... the shadows are real monsters. They lunge for you in attack.

You run from them, terrified. In the midst of everything a bright light appears, and you are left facing a variety of very basic weapons. To defend yourself you reach out and grab one. The rest vanish, but now there's a bracelet on your arm.

At this point, you have to defend yourself from all the monsters. The bracelet has several properties: Storing the weapon you chose (we can talk which ones there are), healing you when the sun comes up (and the monsters vanish), and allowing you to operate on one hour's sleep per 24 hours (in which you are healed).

Would you be interested in something like this?

No, this world. It's run along this one at night. For instance: A high school kid gets involved in the game. During the daytime, they have a normal school life, friends, all that. As soon as the sun goes down, the shadows come out and they have to slip out of the house at night. No where is safe for long for them as it's a continual battlefield throughout the city. No one can see the weapons except for those in the game. No one can see the monsters except for those in the game.

They can, but they'd look nuts. And they can't lose the bracelet as getting rid of it doesn't opt you out of the game. Players are decided by 'random' after they try to get into the Game. Yes, the players look a bit nuts while 'miming attacks' but normal people tend to rationalize the game away. "That person tripped" when in reality they were thrown several feet, for instance. And yes, players are seen by both monsters and regular people. Regular people can't see the monsters, though. It's like there was a change in the minds or body of the players that made them real and visible to these monsters.

You either 'die' (go comatose indefinitely) or you survive until 25. That're the only ways out. You have to be a minimum of 15 to get in, which means, if you're unlucky... you could be stuck killing things for ten years. Granted, you'd get to have a huge amount of time to be up and awake, but half of it would be filled with fighting.

Yes, our characters interact. We can do two each, male and female if you're comfortable with it. Oh! And the weapons are: Sword, Dagger, Small Axe, Bow and Arrow (unlimited arrows), Staff (non-magical), Spear, and something else I can't remember.

Hammer! It was hammer! Thank you as it was one of my favorite weapons to use. I have two characters premade for it as I like using them One's in his twenties and the other is late teens. You can do whatever age you want, truthfully.

And okay. The main plots for those would be this:

Childhood friends: They were so close when they were younger, had even had childhood crushes for one another, but one year he moved away. They were still young, and keeping in touch was near impossible since neither could really contact one another. Since he's been gone, she'd suffered a head injury in a car crash, and forgotten the entirety of her childhood in partial amnesia. When he finally comes back to his home town to find the girl he still harbors feelings for, how will he react to finding out that she doesn't even remember he'd ever existed in her life?

Boarding school:

Having applied to many different schools in a desperate attempt to get a scholarship, Charla, using her nickname of Charlie, didn't realize she'd applied to an all boys school until it was too late. However, this is one of the best schools around, and she, as a boy, is given the opportunity to attend for free. In the end, it's too hard to resist and the young woman decides to pose as a boy to get through such a good school. The boy, unfortunate as he is, ends up being her roomate. How long can she fool someone who seems to be around all the time? [Can have some twists and such if we think of anything to add.]

Werewolf x Were Kitty:
Boy and Girl fall in love, the only catch? Each has a secret. What happens when they reveal themselves to be what they are and find out that they are indeed opposites? Can cat and dog really work in a relationship?
