Spiky hair has been on my list of things to do for a while xD. I agree - Trisphee is lacking in a good selection of spiky hair styles.

I remember bringing that up during beta and thats how we got the roxas looking hair.. I just love spikey hair >D Especially gravity defying spikey hair. Square enix for an example xD.

Kamikaze Chinchilla 01-17-2011 11:33 PM

I wasn't around much for beta, so I didn't see that request lol xD. But it's a good call on your part...since a few styles of spiky hair are better than no styles at all D8

Sadrain 01-17-2011 11:34 PM

Well, we wouldn't want you to die not only because of Mr. Tweetums (I nearly wrote: Mr. Weetums ;;>.>). C: So, I am happy you live~ ^^

Coda 01-17-2011 11:36 PM

Well, the hair Dacorum was using is a spiky style that will be included in the next hair update.

Illusion 01-17-2011 11:40 PM

Panda 01-18-2011 01:04 AM

You got me all excited, Rainy.

Sadrain 01-18-2011 01:16 AM

I can't wait for one. x3 <3

The Great Eagle Eye 01-18-2011 02:00 AM

1. A messenger of love.
Eros, if we mean love of the physical kind.
Cupid, if we mean the cherub of over-priced greeting cards.
Of course, thats only the mystical aspect of a 'Messenger of Love'...

2. Not a rug.
A bear, can be made into a rug, but is not always.
Or perhaps an item involving hair, as a Toupée can be called a rug.

3. Suited for fire.
Wood, it burns well and is suited for fire, or perhaps some kind of armor, if we mean fire in a different sense.

Azrael 01-18-2011 03:33 AM

cute kawaii... ~shudder~ I'm sorry but that's overkill by far....

~sigh~ There's a reason I have a difficult time thinking of Kawaii as an actual Japanese word and not something we made up online...

Anyway, I can't wait for silvary's hair myself...

Jenny Harper 01-18-2011 05:48 AM

I'm saying and hoping for Cupid or Eros, A bear item and hopefully a Salamander or a draon XD

Uke 01-18-2011 07:03 AM

Have you ever seen an extremely ugly guy propose to a very super model hot women before? .. With the women accepting the marriage?

Uke 01-18-2011 07:20 AM

Illusion 01-18-2011 07:23 AM

Maybe she want a better life for herself. :] Just because someone ugly doesn't mean that they are bad or anything. It is nature that made them the way they are, I'm sure he will take good care of her. ^ ^ I'm happy for him and for her. She is probably tired of the whole body thing and work her ass off to be able to pay bills and stuff.

It's an actual Japanese word but it has largely the same meaning we attribute to it here. "Kawaii" is a cultural phenomenon and goes a lot deeper than just "looking cute" and goes into a full set of attitudes and expected behaviors. So don't think that Western otaku gave it the definition it has -- no, Western otaku have simply picked up on the visual part of the real definition.

(Now, the word "otaku" on the other hand is considered fairly offensive in Japan -- similar to the idea of "poopsocking" here. It's not something people willingly apply to themselves there.)

Echo-chan713 01-18-2011 01:49 PM

Doesn't otaku mean house in japanese in which some anime people take it to an offense by reffering for them not leave the house at any given moment and have no social life.

Coda 01-18-2011 02:06 PM

You're correct that it means "house" and that when applied to a person it means that they don't leave the house. But it's not "some anime people" and not really "take offense" -- it's intentionally used as an insult and it can be applied to a lot of different things, not just anime.

Pinkie 01-18-2011 02:24 PM

....I have no idea what they could be...

Blaine 01-18-2011 03:26 PM

GOnna tryyyy:

1. Eros? Something related?
2. Carpet? xD Magic Carpet/Arabian?
3. Trees or something Wood-related?

xD;;;;

Sadrain 01-18-2011 03:58 PM

I really hope there will be background of sorts. XD;;

Azrael 01-18-2011 04:05 PM

XD I /know/ it's a Japanese word. XD Going onto my fourth year of Japanese... granted I don't think I'm terribly great at it, but I love it. But anyway I was just saying that I have an intensely difficult time taking it seriously as an actual word.

Odessa 01-18-2011 04:06 PM

Blaine, that #2 guess is GENIUS!

I know you know it is. XD My point was that the meaning of "かわいい" goes far beyond the superficial "cute" definition to being a distinctly Japanese idea.

Fiyero 01-18-2011 04:17 PM

1. A messenger of love. - Eros/Cupid?
2. Not a rug. A TOUPEE!?
3. Suited for fire. errrr I dunno about this one.

Azrael 01-18-2011 04:20 PM

XD Kay.

Ginger 01-18-2011 04:40 PM

I'll be -trying- to stock up on runes and aurum when I have the ability to do so~

Mal Kapwn 01-18-2011 04:44 PM

The magic carpet guess made me really want avis that could sit cross legged 8D That would be awesome!

Uke 01-18-2011 06:24 PM

Mal Kapwn~ That would be pretty darn awesome!

I took 3 years of Japanese myself and all I can really do is hold a basic conversation and say things that would make someone blush. C:

Coda 01-18-2011 06:40 PM

みんなは日本語を勉強するほうがいいよ!

(Everyone should study Japanese!)

Uke 01-18-2011 07:02 PM

It is a very lovely language. Cx

Ashy 01-18-2011 07:08 PM

but japanese culture has changed alot since i studied japanese @_@

Coda 01-18-2011 07:33 PM

Um... how so, Ashy? You'd have to be pretty old for that to be true -- that is, you would have to have studied Japanese in the 80s. Are you sure it's not more a matter of just what you've been exposed to?

Taiki 01-18-2011 07:51 PM

The best thing about February is it's the month I was born. ;D

Valentine's Day is cool too I guess, though I've never had an actual Valentine. I just like candy! 8D

Lucid: 01-18-2011 08:09 PM

I like candy too! 8D Taiki should pixel a mountain of candy!
