Airina 02-01-2011 03:05 AM

Mine is the name of the main character of the book that I'm writing. Airi. Pronounced like air-ee. not aree. Airi the air head.

Espy 02-01-2011 03:31 AM

Ehehe. I thought it was Ai-ree.

zn0srap 02-01-2011 03:35 AM

It's my last name spelled backwards. :D

Parsons.

Airina 02-01-2011 03:38 AM

Lucid told me that today Espy and I thought that I should clear it up... It's like air eee. *giggles* it's okay. It's a random name. But I really like odd names. It was either that or I could've used my character's full name of Airina.

Yommy 02-01-2011 03:50 AM

Mine cane from the Lanyards one wears around their neck. Plus it's different than what I usually go by. I have been thinking of changing it to my usual name but dunno if I really want to.

Airina 02-01-2011 03:53 AM

What's your normal name?

Yommy 02-01-2011 03:55 AM

Aristar in gaia and other sites I visit. Most call me Ari for short though. ^_^

Airina 02-01-2011 03:56 AM

That would be interesting having an Ari and an Airi.

Yommy 02-01-2011 03:57 AM

That is what I thought too when I saw your post here.
I may change it in time but not at the moment.

Espy 02-01-2011 03:58 AM

But then we'd also have an Airu.

Airina 02-01-2011 04:00 AM

huh? What do you mean?

Yommy 02-01-2011 04:00 AM

Oh yeah, I had not seen that one in a while so I had forgotten about it. xD

Airina 02-01-2011 04:01 AM

Oh... *lightbulb* hahahaha Airi, Ari, and Airu how confusing... dang... *facepalm*

Espy 02-01-2011 04:02 AM

That's like Taiki, Taiye, Taikimon, and Taishi. And Toshi before she changed her name.

Airina 02-01-2011 04:03 AM

Holy cow... That's a lot of similarities... OH my!

Yommy 02-01-2011 04:03 AM

Haha...People just love the A's and T's. xD

Airina 02-01-2011 04:08 AM

Apparently... I was going to maybe do Aria... But I thought that Airi would be better... Hahahahaha

Yommy 02-01-2011 04:09 AM

Lol, Is it your usual name or do you go by another as well?

Airina 02-01-2011 04:12 AM

I've never done something like this before... *giggles* Both Aria and Airi are characters in books I'm writing. Different books. That would be too confusing for my readers if they were in the same book...

Yommy 02-01-2011 04:14 AM

Ah I see. xD Well I like both names. -nods-If you are on other sites You'll always know me by the other name. ^_^

Airina 02-01-2011 04:15 AM

Aria is one of my favorite names of all times... I want to name my first daughter Arianna Danielle.

Yommy 02-01-2011 04:17 AM

Oh that is so pretty. I have three kids already but if I ever have another I want to name the girl Rosemary Elspeth. Now if it's a boy I want to name him Vanyel Orin.

Airina 02-01-2011 04:22 AM

I don't have any yet. But i cannot wait to have some kids after I get married. The other girls name that I really like is Emmalyn Kay

Yommy 02-01-2011 04:26 AM

Oh that is one I have not heard before. Sounds very pretty too.
What if you have a boy?

Airina 02-01-2011 04:30 AM

Boys are harder for me to figure out... I like Colin James... I suck at figuring out boy names... But that's probably because I know that the girls last names will eventually change most likely the boys won't and their names need to sound good with their last name, which has yet to be figure out since I am not married/have a boyfriend...

Yommy 02-01-2011 04:37 AM

That is one way of looking at it. There are so many nice male names though that it's so hard to pick as well.

Airina 02-01-2011 04:41 AM

Pretty Lanyer!! Ummm for me I just don't really like most common names... I have babysat so much that most normal names have been ruined by association with some kid... Hence my unusual girl names... Boy names are harder to figure out.

Yommy 02-01-2011 04:44 AM

I got both my names I mentioned out of books written by Mercedes Lackey.
I just love her books and have to have either of those names if I have anymore kids. xD If not I'll name my future pets those names. xD

Thanks. <3

Airina 02-01-2011 04:47 AM

Hahahaha well some of my favorite book characters are: Marcus, David, Stephen, Jack, Quinn (which I might use), Cole (which I think I will use... not sure), George, Alan, or Jonathan... Quinn and Cole are the only unusual ish names... But I cannot figure out good middle names for them. And I think I would do Quintin rather than Quinn. But I don't know... I used to really like the name Kimberlyn, but then I met a little girl who is crazy with that name. And I like Emmalyn better.

Espy 02-01-2011 04:47 AM

Speaking of names....anyone good at naming characters?

Airina 02-01-2011 04:48 AM

I am. I am constantly thinking of new names for characters.

Yommy 02-01-2011 04:49 AM

Oh I love the name Quintin. Use to know a boy when I was younger who was hot with that name. xD

Could try but not sure you'd like the name. Got a art piece or description of the character?

Airina 02-01-2011 04:51 AM

I'm glad that you pointed out the book character ones... because i have never thought of those two before.. Thanks Lanny!

Espy 02-01-2011 04:51 AM

These two darned idiots x_X

http://trisphee.com/forums/showpost....99&postcount=2

Airina 02-01-2011 04:53 AM

What are they both like?

Espy 02-01-2011 04:53 AM

Ooh, boys' names...A few of my favorites are Federico, Kevin, Austin, Julian, Justin, and Shaun. o.O Lots of names ending with -n, I just realized.

Yommy 02-01-2011 04:55 AM

You are most welcome Airi. ^_^

Espy I dunno what you'd think but I got two.
Manuique Jhonnipheir & Rastuch Dominique.

Airina 02-01-2011 04:55 AM

Describe them to me. Are they funny? Serious? Ages? How would they act in certain circumstances?
@ Lanyer! I figured out the first boys name that I love and it's all because of you!!! Quintin Boyce!! (Boyce is a family name)

The guys with the mask is a desperado of sorts; he's done something to piss off the tyrant. He's quiet and doesn't talk much, but the two of them (brothers) care lots for their blind and crippled sister.

The pirate-looking guy is a couple years older and is a bit mischievous and rowdy, and more friendly in general.

Espy 02-01-2011 04:58 AM

@Lanyer: Whoa...Manuique is actually a decent name. But I'm trying to go with a more...eh...classic-ish name? For example, my friend suggested Ethaniel for the black-haired one.
