At this point, you're in violation of the ToS. Please leave.

Mizeria 03-25-2011 01:24 AM

Poggio; That also sounds interesting. I love YA books. They are good reads and I can beast through them. I don't have a lot of time anymore so I don't get to start that many books anymore.

Poggio 03-25-2011 01:26 AM

Well I have a whole bunch of books I can recommend you if you want. XD we can do a book trade because I could frankly talk about them for hours. I'm currently reading another YA book called Am I blue.

Mizeria 03-25-2011 01:29 AM

The Percy Jackson Series is awesome
The author has... two other series
an Egypt one and a sequel series to the Percy Jackson Series
I love them.
I haven't read the Egypt series yet though.

Patrica Briggs is an amazing author I love all of her books.
I own most of them.

Poggio 03-25-2011 01:40 AM

I've heard of percy jackson and I have a friend reading the series. I dont have enough money to invest in it yet.
Patrica Briggs is a new one. What does she write about?

Letiel 03-25-2011 01:41 AM

Ok. I'm sorry.

Mizeria 03-25-2011 01:44 AM

Fantasy mostly.
Werewolves, vampires, Fae, and all sorts of things.
Her website
If you wanted to look at some of her stuff.

Moyashi 03-25-2011 01:47 AM

Mizeria 03-25-2011 01:50 AM

Renata 03-25-2011 02:12 AM

@moyashi I loved the Cirque Du Freak books and I've been meaning to read the rest of his stuff The self insert in that series worked very well it doesn't always work that way in books.

-starts to watch the fishes with intent-

Airina 03-25-2011 02:21 AM

*flops back onto the thread*

Renata 03-25-2011 02:22 AM

Holy poofs batman

Moyashi 03-25-2011 02:24 AM

Renata - Oh it's fantastic to find another Cirque du freak lover <3 Yeah i'm waiting for the second of the saga of Larten C. book...april is too far away T.T I also want to read The Thin Executioner..cause it just sounds interesting ^^

Renata 03-25-2011 02:31 AM

I still need to read the series after Cirque and yeah I was just as estatic to find another fan and not someone who's only seen the travesty that they call the Crique Du Freak movie.

Mizeria 03-25-2011 02:32 AM

@.@

I'm Soo Lost right now

Poggio 03-25-2011 02:34 AM

XD Darren Shan is amazing. His books the Circ du freak series offers a different take on vamperism. I havent read his other series but I do know that one has been made into a manga and a movie.

Renata 03-25-2011 02:34 AM

@miz You should be
@everyone else yeah I loved the take on Vamperism especially after reading twilight it made me happy that not everyone in the world thinks that vampires should sparkle and just be gay.

Airina 03-25-2011 02:35 AM

*is lost as well*

Renata 03-25-2011 02:37 AM

It's okies Airina were talking about the Cirque Du Freak books.

Mizeria 03-25-2011 02:39 AM

-snuggles with my Airi-

Vampires are cool but I like weres' better~

Renata 03-25-2011 02:41 AM

Depends on the type of were's in m opinion and yeah honestly I'd like a were bunny over a vampy.

Mizeria 03-25-2011 02:42 AM

-rolls eyes-

You are sooo silly sometimes...

Moyashi 03-25-2011 02:42 AM

oh yeah...the movie actually came out on my birthday =D so i saw it then....it kinda made me sad...there were like...7 people in the theater (including me my mom and my friend xD)
I love Darren's shans Vampires though, amazing work.
Renata- lol yeah i'm glad that there are people out there that think that too.

Airina 03-25-2011 02:47 AM

*snuggles Mizzy*

Renata 03-25-2011 02:53 AM

If it weren't for the movie I wouldn't have known about the books. When I saw the trailer it made me go I bet thats a book. Luckily I waited till the movie was online to watch it. I than went and told my mother to tel everyone that the movie was crap. Since she works in a library it made her wonder how bad it actually was. Hopefully they won't put us threw another movie.....unlike twilight that movie didn't learn.

@miz maybe she's yours but your mine -glomps-

Damies 03-25-2011 03:34 AM

I was gonna spend tonight trading pokémon, but the GTS is being weird... so now I am planning on reading the book I have been neglecting... "The Three Musketeers"

Renata 03-25-2011 03:48 AM

That works lol although I should do the same I have several books that I need to read.

Damies 03-25-2011 03:58 AM

I've had the 3 musketeers book for 3 months and I've hardly touched it. >.<

I got the "100 Classic Books" game card for my DS for Christmas and I have only read one book off of it, and it was a short one at that....

As much as]I love to read I find myself playing games more than reading.

Renata 03-25-2011 04:08 AM

I hear you there that's how it goes for me as well. I tend to try to read but it doesn't end up working out that way.

Damies 03-25-2011 04:35 AM

Heh, even now I am fiddling around online rather than reading the book. x.x

It is a good book, but the main characters have such massive egos that it is hard to read without throwing my DS across the room... how people found them "dashing" and wonderful I'll never understand...

Demonskid 03-25-2011 11:14 AM

*read through the second page and just busted out laughing* x'D you guys do know there is another book hangout called the Biblophile! I love how everyone goes "there was no other one in the club house" =w=

My Favorite book is part of a series and I love the series so far 83

Renata 03-25-2011 12:57 PM

Did they say why it's not going to be published? =(

Airina 03-25-2011 03:38 PM

*flops onto the thread*
I know DK that there was another hangout like this one.... I just wanted to create another one. And I'm just silly like that. We were debating between books and board games. And we settled on books.

She's old and dieing and there are many rumors going around. I hope it gets published one day D: I wanna see how the series end.. even if the series was going down the drain along with the authors health ><

Airi - x'D I know I just found it funny people saying they didn't know one existed already its been on the front page of the Club house for a while. =w=

Airina 03-25-2011 03:42 PM

*yawns* Oh well it happens. But I don't care. This is going to be my baby and my hang out.

Renata 03-25-2011 04:05 PM
