Kenly 04-10-2011 06:54 PM

Nodding sagely, she agreed whole-heartedly.
"You're right, I am. And I usually get my way."
To that, she offered him a knowing wink.
"But really, one tiny bite won't hurt anything. I won't ask you to taste the rest."

Fey 04-10-2011 06:58 PM

Sighing dramatically he leaned towards her, "One bite..but if a short, angry Italian finds out I'm sending him to talk to you."

Kenly 04-10-2011 07:01 PM

Grinning, she nodded.
"I think I can handle him. I might even get you a better job."
Sipping some more of her cocoa, she waited for his response to the pie.

Fey 04-10-2011 07:08 PM

Taking the offered bite he savored the bite slowly, "You're right, it was delicious." Handing her back the fork he licked at the corners of his mouth, not having thought to grab napkins when bringing things over. "I don't normally mind the strict diets, but I don't normally have such company to test my resolve over them either." Sipping his tea again he leveled his gaze at her, "So, Kenly, what temps you?"

Kenly 04-10-2011 07:19 PM

Watching him through hooded eyes, she regarded him a moment before answering.
"Things that wouldn't tempt most. In fact, those in the know would say you're not safe with me."
Trying to lessen the seriousness of her statement, she wiggled her eyebrows at him and smiled.

Fey 04-10-2011 07:23 PM

Finishing his tea Tal tried to give his face a suitably horrified expression. "Oh dear, you're that dangerous? Is my virtue at stake? Or just my liver?" Relaxing back he trailed a fingertip lightly over her shoulder. "I think I'll chance it."

Kenly 04-10-2011 07:27 PM

Leaning into his touch, she continued to watch him.
"It's not your liver you're in danger of loosing around me. Your virtue, well... We can work on that, too. I've no objections."
She grinned with the last.

Fey 04-10-2011 07:29 PM

"Mmm, a succubus I see, well I suppose I'll have to grin and bear it." His fingers slide along her shoulder to stroke the nape of her neck. Wiggling his brows, "But I'll have you know, dancers have...stamina. So I think my odds of survival are good."

Kenly 04-10-2011 07:38 PM

Laughing, she drew her tongue across the bottoms of her teeth, finally revealing her fangs to him.
"I'm not just a succubus. You're not put off, are you? I know most would be afraid to be around me, knowing what I am."

Fey 04-10-2011 07:43 PM

His fingers stilled for a moment on her skin, his brain assimilating all he'd noticed since he'd first met her. But then his mind kicked in, he'd worked on stage for years, and while they might look real those fangs were most likely the thermoplastic ones sold in many costume shops. Giving a contemplative noise he lifted his free hand to tuck his long braid over his other shoulder, baring that side of his neck. "Nah, I'm a standard type though, so I don't know how good it'll taste."

Kenly 04-10-2011 07:48 PM

Tilting her head to the side, she looked around the coffee shop again.
"Right here, in front of everyone? That's bold of you, darling. But, if that's the thrill you seek, I'm willing to oblige."

Fey 04-10-2011 07:50 PM

Swallowing a laugh he looked about, "I suppose you're right, can't have everyone freaking out.... Though would you even have room after your pie? I can't imagine A positive tasting good on top of berry cobbler or chocolate silk."

Kenly 04-10-2011 08:07 PM

Eyeing his neck, she reached out and trailed her index finger along the line of his neck.
"Blood type doesn't matter. It's all good to me. And as for the pie and blood... The typical food isn't nourishment for me."

Fey 04-10-2011 08:10 PM

"Oh yeah? That must be the ultimate in diets then, can't imagine them marketing it all that well though." Letting his hand slide off her neck he coiled one lock of dark hair around his finger, rubbing the soft texture.

Kenly 04-10-2011 08:17 PM

Laughing, she let him play with her hair.
"You'd be surprised. We have our fingers in all kinds of pies, so to speak. We have blood pops, those are blood based suckers. We also have our newest candy-vampire twizzlers. I bet you can guess what those are."
Moving from her seat, she moved closer to him and laid her hand on his leg.

Fey 04-10-2011 08:19 PM

Tugging her closer, nearly into his lap he continued to play with her hair. "What no blood-kisses? Or blood based energy drinks? Brings a whole new meaning to 'Red' Bull."

Kenly 04-10-2011 08:39 PM

Laughing again, she shrugged.
"Things are in the works. One thing at a time, after all. The business vamps would be out of it if everything came all at once. Can't have that, now can we?"
Practically purring at him, she leaned in close to breathe him in again.
"By the way, I thought you should know, you have a very intoxicating scent. I'm sure you taste just divine."

Fey 04-10-2011 08:43 PM

"Huh, never contemplated marketing vampires...tell me are there agent vampires, they would bring the original 'bloodsuckers'." He tried to recall if, after practice, he'd done more than shower...but he didn't think so. Mentally shrugging he supposed as long as he didn't stink it was a step up.

Kenly 04-10-2011 08:59 PM

Bumping into him softly, she smiled playfully.
"I can't go giving away all the vampire world's secrets to a complete stranger. Cute as that stranger may be."

Fey 04-10-2011 09:01 PM

"I'd prefer 'ruggedly good looking', but I guess I can work with cute." Bringing the lock of hair he'd been playing with to his lips he flicked the ends against his skin. "So, might I suppose then that your, friend, earlier was also a vampire? Seems I must've been lucky to escape unscathed."

Kenly 04-11-2011 07:17 AM

Watching him play with her hair, she nodded a bit.
"Yes. He's my sire, actually. And, like me, he doesn't attack people who don't want it."
Grinning, she added with a low throaty murmur, "And by the time we're done, they want it."

Fey 04-12-2011 12:21 AM

Tal tried not to roll his eyes at the word 'sire', but he guessed gorgeous didn't preclude a bit batty. "Oh I'm sure you don't have any trouble getting people to agree," he dramatically swung his eyes around the room. "After all I volunteered, without even thinking about the others in the room." Part of his brain warned him he should just let her go on her way, but the rest of him really refused to loose time with her just because of her life-choices and hobbies.

Kenly 04-12-2011 08:44 AM

Eyeballing him a bit, she knew he didn't believe her. She really didn't want to scare him away by proving it, either. She really liked this young man.
"Well, if and when you're ready to leave, I can introduce you to the pleasures I can offer-even outside the bedroom."
She leaned back against him, content-for the moment-just to be against the warmth of his body and listening to the beating of his heart. She was sure that soon enough she'd have it all a-pitter-pat.

Fey 04-12-2011 10:31 AM

"I'll keep that in mind," he smiled to himself as she settled against him. He knew he should probably call the evening to a close soon. Even if he did have a relaxed schedule coming up for the production he still had classes. But for now, he was going to be a 'typical' guy.

Kenly 04-12-2011 04:57 PM

Finishing off the rest of her hot cocoa, she turned to look up at him. Letting her eyes meet his, she tried to lightly roll him, just to give him a small taste of what she could do. If his mind was susceptible to her vampiric ability, he'd feel a pleasurable warming low in his abdomen, blossoming up into his chest like a flower unfurling under the morning sun.

Fey 04-12-2011 09:41 PM

Gazing into her eyes he marveled at the colour, wondering if their purple hue was due to contacts. He looked closer, looking for the tell tale line...then forgot what he was doing. Heat stole through his body, and he lifted a hand to smooth his fingertips over her jaw. "You're beautiful," he said in a low tone, not caring how trite it might sound.

Kenly 04-13-2011 01:34 AM

Grinning, she broke eye contact, blinking her long black lashes down over her smoky purple irises.
"Thank you."
Running her hand down along his side, she stopped before becoming inappropriate in a public place.
"I could do more, you know. Much more. I could make you think, or do, whatever I want. I could make you beg me to hurt you simply for the pleasure it would cause-because I say so. But I don't force myself on anyone... Unless I'm ravenous. But you're safe tonight."
Adding a coy smile at the end of it, she watched him for his reaction to what she had just told him, and what she had just explained to him.

Fey 04-13-2011 09:28 AM

As she looked away Tal's mind refocused and he too blinked a few times. Listening to her words he started to wonder, after all as the Bard had said, 'There's more things in heaven and earth..than are dreamt of in your philosophy'.

"Well, I'll go on record right now, no matter what might be intimated, I'm not a huge fan of unnecessary pain." Though, thinking about it he probably should rescind that, no dancer avoided pain, it wouldn't have worked. Giving a playful tug on her hair he added, "But that must make it hard, knowing you can just make someone do or say what you want, doesn't it make any sort of relationship false?"

Kenly 04-13-2011 10:10 AM

Turning back to him from the tug, she shrugged one shoulder.
"Only if you abuse your power. Just because I -can- doesn't mean I -do-. It's like anything else. In moderation. Besides, I only tend to use my sway over one's choices in the bedroom."
Grinning a little crookedly, she added, "And don't worry. I'm not a huge fan of unneeded pain, either."

Fey 04-13-2011 09:00 PM

"I'll keep your proclivities in mind...a first encounter is a bit soon to be thinking about a first encounter in bed, I'm a bit of an old fashioned guy." he grinned. It was true, he was the flower-pick-you-up-open-your-car-door sort...it drove many 'indepenent' women nuts. "For now, for my sanity, maybe we should dial it back a bit," he made no move to shift their positions. "So, tell me one random, fun fact about you Kenly; something no one would guess."

Kenly 04-14-2011 08:44 AM

She had no intention of moving from where she sat and with him making no move to remove her, she snuggled in closer. She didn't have to have him in a bedroom to feed, after all. She'd just much rather not do it in a public place, either.
"Hmm... One fun fact about that which is Kenly. Let's see. I'm also a witch. Turning to face him, she blinked her eyes at him, the color going from their usual smoky purple to a bright vibrant blue. Leaving her eyes open long enough for him to be sure to see what he thought he saw, she blinked them again, their color returning to normal.
"I won't do anything more impressive here. Don't need any burning at the stake in the street, after all. Not good for my complexion."

Fey 04-14-2011 10:12 PM

Watching her already stunning eyes change hue Tal mentally wondered just what he'd stumbled into while strolling home tonight. He contemplated pinching himself...who knows maybe he'd crossed a street and been hit by a bus and was even now in a love coma induced hallucination.... But the tea had tasted like tea, and while Kenly wasn't giving off a LOT of heat he could distinctly feel her against him. Who knows, maybe this was the most lucid dream to hit REM.

"Definitely no stakes or burnings around here, I think the general population would spend more time trying to get you to tell them the lotto numbers, or make love potions or weight removal spells."

Kenly 04-15-2011 08:39 AM

Hiding a giggle behind her hand, she shook her head.
"No such luck. I don't do those. No personal gain, for the most part. Now, getting you to swoon like a love-sick school boy... That's not magic. That's my succubus side. But potions... I was never very good in that class."
Remembering her many detentions for that particular class, she cringed, but continued to smile.
Bouncing just a bit, she inquired, "So what of Tal? Besides dancing, what makes him tick?"

Fey 04-15-2011 09:32 AM

Wiggling his eyebrows Tal teased, "Really, making me swoon like a love-sick school boy is because you're female, and pretty...no additional efforts required." Stroking his chin as though deeply contemplating the question he dramatically lifted a hand, one finger extended. "A clockwork heart? No, that's not it. I"m afraid I'm a pretty easy read by comparison, the shiniest skeleton in my closet is that I'm an orphan, my parents gave me up as a small kid."

Kenly 04-15-2011 07:47 PM

Finally having the decency to blush for him, her pale skin took on a very faint rosy hue.
"Thank you for that. As for your shiny skeleton, I was sort of an orphan, too. What was the hardest part of growing up for you?"

Fey 04-17-2011 09:09 PM

Turning a bit introspective Tal thought about Kenly's question. "Well, I don't know, I've been on my own a long time so it's hard to think back to what might have been hard. I was super lucky that one foster family enrolled me in a tap class, and from there I was hooked. I guess the hardest was talking each following family into spending a bit of the government check to get me into other ones. It's amazing the number of people that agree to foster only to get that funding to spend on themselves." Grinning as he recalled one time, "I used to sell my lunches they'd pack to get extra money so I could buy new shoes, or private lessons. Took that family ages to figure out why I looked like a scarecrow."

Kenly 04-17-2011 11:07 PM

Smiling, she shook her head. She wasn't really surprised at his ingenuity. "We who are left to our own devices must do what we must to get what we need, yes?"

Fey 04-18-2011 06:57 AM

"Yeah," he looked at her. He knew that girls had it a lot harder in the foster system...though...she might be old enough that she went through all this long before the foster system was even in place. "Were you a foster child or was that a bit 'after' your time?"

Kenly 04-18-2011 08:19 PM

"Truth be told, I was raised by my sister. The parents died shortly after I was, ah, born. I never had to enter the system. Though, as you said, yes, it was after my time, so to speak."

Reaching forward to grab a small bit of one of the pies, she nibbled on the crumbs. She wasn't sure what this particular one was, but it was quite good.

Fey 04-18-2011 08:50 PM

"Oh, I'd've killed for a sibling," Tal watched as she sampled the lemon curd pie, it was one of his favourites. "I mean, I often had kids in the foster families, but most of them were just obnoxious. The worst were the times they'd assume I'd do whatever they'd tell me to...which gets awkward when you're a boy that's big into dance. There are some seriously disturbed people in this world."
