Nah then I'd have to edit my post lol. We can do a slight twist. Like I said the attacks have happen but are being covered up from the majority of the public. By the time it's known there will be madness like i was thinking and the main force of attack happening. Maybe a nearby military base is taken down and we can see the bright flash of light. Mistaken first as a nuke but strangely radiation being absent...or whatever I just typed this bs now. We only wanted to avoid a major lull in the play so let's take this in stride and do just that. =)

Anyways I replied. Inspiration for his burn drawn from a random memory of mine for a traumatic experience.

No I have never been burned. As a kid I thought fire was cool, like many do, and played with it. I've been almost burned 3 times as a kid, nothing majorly bad. Though in high school I got lucky. I'm pretty sure the kids on the bus were high that day cause this girl had a lighter and was spraying her purfume through it. Neat...but in a full bus? I don't know how the bus driver didn't notice or how I managed to not get burnt when all 4 of those sprays were in my direction. (she was sitting against the window and me right next to her.) There was no other seat open so I...just sat there praying =\ xD;

rejoice in never having gotten burned, it suuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuucks. Mine were all relatively minor(save a lovely 3rd degree glue gun burn), so I tend to respect fire, and let it be.
And I tend to use 'they' when talking of others so I can't make a slip up and assume the wrong gender.

Appearance: Unlike his peers, because Beta was genetically created his features are more like those of a moth rather then a fly, because of this he lacks the double mandibles and the height of his peers but has gained the abilities of flight and a mild camouflage that fights against the ailens/human natural ability to detect mana. As a human, I will find a picture of that and edit it here.

Personality: This will probably develop as we go but for now we shall say that Beta is a serious little bugger. Hes the type of person that enjoys watching a poor helpless animal figure out a way out of a trap rather then helping it.

Skills: Beta has a skillful command of the mysterious aliens ship commands as well as, what ever his race can do with Mana ( which hasn’t been described ) . He also has what his added genetics provided which is flight and camouflage.

History: Beta was fabricated in a laboratory using some genetic codes from the species that the the Aliens concocted before coming to earth. They wanted to try and harness his original genetic codes powers and adapted to their own. He is the second more successful attempt at integrating the various DNA strains though the doctors are unsure of how unstable he is. The Alien army has been training Beta since he was first able to stand on his own out of his tube. This is only his second invasion mission with this one being the first one where he has been given any command status on a ship. As of right now he is in charge of data collection.

Wow...impressive and here I thought all characters were going to be human (with alien NPCs). Well okay then sworn enemy :p Good luck with a picture, at least I do have some idea of his apparence already though that helps. And well...anyone right now can take creative liberty with the aliens. Motives too since I was just going to improvise with what works at the time when a motive needs to be apparent.

Also my particular OC for this is a Ghoul and former Vault Dweller. He turned "undead" when an internal struggle nearly overloaded the nuclear reactor. Specifics of that circumstance aside he was a mechanic/engineer.

Yeah you're not a bad RPer don't worry about that. But I'm not in a mega RPing mood or anything. So it'll take an intriguing plot to convince me right now. ;>->

you were in a library noone visited because a new one opened across town and a voice in the back of your mind whispered to you in the very back of your brain, you turn sharply into an isle of the stacks and find a corner you had not seen before, there is a chair and a single old brown book lays closed on the seat. you look at it and the whisper voice comands you to look you take the book and open it, the pages are blank but for chaper-heads and at the back a single 'the end' in beautiful scrawl

as you flip back to the front you see the first page had something written on it afterall 'sic incipit' the voice says 'so it begins' urgently and just barely audiably you repeat 'it begins?' and are tossed alice style into the world of the book, a blank and barren place brought to life by the prince of the pages, a shy yet pushy voice who has been without a playmate for longer than he can say, your only option is to get through the 'story' either by convincing him to write it or by following his rules as you go though he intends to keep you from getting past the 12th chapter(there are thirteen) where you can write your own ending with what powers grew in you from going through the storybook

you won't be able to move the story in the begining but the prince is a bit stupid in the begining to make up for it

the first four chapters will pass arbertrarily as we write but after that you can help dictate the progress though the goal is to end the book as fast as you can my goal is to make you play forever around chapter five in the world created in the prior four chapters, what kind of world those chapters are depend on you, i can't read minds but to be fair you cannot be mute or start planning traps until at least the second chapter

you can say no to the prince's advances later in the story if you'd like i won't push it(though the prince might in any way he can later on) but either way you have to be a male char, i won't be a female one and i have a hang-up about mixing genders in anything that could encourage gender roles^^:


and you can't be a child short person, or an elderly man, sorry^^: other than that i am game<3 i post twice a day if you are not on, more if you are that is morning and night for me about 10 hours between night post and morning for work except weekends
