XD I'd keep it in it's own little tank thing... except I wouldn't know where. Cause when the moor I have passes I plan to get another one. I love moor fish. I WANT A PANDA MOOR >_>

Angel Spirit Girl 05-20-2011 08:51 PM

Hello. ^.^

Fish are cool.

I used to have some at different time.

Azrael 05-20-2011 08:53 PM

I want to get a tattoo of a black moor fish on my foot... I dunno when, though.
And I still want a kanji so... ugh x.x' yeah I dunno. But I do want a small tattoo of a a black moor fish. Nothing big.

I also discovered with mine, if I put my finger on the tank in front of him, he tries to suck at my finger <3

Really? o.o I know that Fire Bellied Toads will bark when you feed them/when they get to know you better.

I don't think he's ever growled at me... XD Though he will chase his reflection around the tank. lol

Suzerain of Sheol 05-20-2011 09:11 PM

I have a parrot fish, I've had him for about a year. He's really picky, ate flakes for a few months then decided he was too good for flakes, so now I have to feed him frozen blood worm every other day.

He spends most of his time hiding under his little bridge, he's a bit of a misanthrope. I'm fond of him, though. He's fat and looks like he's smiling all the time.

Lucid: 05-20-2011 09:13 PM

I had a beta fish when I was a kid, but he died when we went on vacation. I think the neighbors neglected him. :C

Azrael 05-20-2011 09:16 PM

OMG those are some pretty fish! @_@
I won't take care of anything that's too much maintenance. Hell, if I have to, for sure, feed them every day it's too much, cause I often forget to feed my fish. XD

awe ;-; that's sad lucid.

Angel Spirit Girl 05-20-2011 09:35 PM

We had a big goldfish that my Mom gave away. v.v

Azrael 05-20-2011 09:46 PM

Awe. I see pictures of these incredibly giant fat round goldfish and I want one. XD

Reyoki 05-20-2011 09:54 PM

A friend of mine was giving away fish she won at a carnival. I wanted one of the betas so bad, but I don't have a tank to keep one in.

Angel Spirit Girl 05-20-2011 10:04 PM

Now I want to get a beta fish. #.#

Azrael 05-20-2011 10:08 PM

XD Me too! Ugh.

Beta only need about a 2 1/2 gallon tank and don't need a filter or airpump or nothin'. So... yeah.

Reyoki 05-20-2011 10:11 PM

I have another problem with having a fish, though... I have 3 cats >.<

Ashy 05-20-2011 10:13 PM

I have a Betta fish i bought yesterday :P My sister got one too theyre so cute ><

Angel Spirit Girl 05-20-2011 10:16 PM

I want a kitten, too. x.x *Sniff!*

Azrael 05-20-2011 10:18 PM

I have cats, but so long as it has a lid, I don't have a problem with them getting into the bowl. I really want a beta now but I don't know where I'd put it. XD

Quiet Man Cometh 05-20-2011 10:21 PM

Gee, 2 and a half gallons is pretty generous. Pet stores sometimes keep them in dixie cups. Clear plastic dixie-cups. Mine lived in a tank that was about the size of two hard cover books side by side. It had a plant and some gravel and that was about it. Course, I was all of 12 or so at the time.

Our fish misadventure would be when one of my cousin's piranha jumped out of it's tank because of a friend's meddling ferret. Said ferret then proceeded to grab the piranha by the tail and pull it under the couch. People are attempting to save the piranha who is snapping at everything within reach while getting their hands clawed at by the ferret who does not want to let go of his fish. Everyone lived.

Azrael 05-20-2011 10:25 PM

XD Ah, i was just saying what I read somewhere online that it should have about two and a half gallons. Although TBH one seems like it'd be perfectly fine...

Reyoki 05-20-2011 10:27 PM

I had a suicidal fish one time... it was kept in an open bowl in the kitchen, and would often jump out of the bowl and into our dog's water bowl... it missed once and died from dehydration because we were out of the house that day.

Lucid: 05-20-2011 10:32 PM

Az lieks teh sketchin's? :3

Ashy 05-20-2011 10:32 PM

and thats why you need a lid ><

Azrael 05-20-2011 10:43 PM

XD Exactly. My goldfish used to jump and hit the lid every so often. LoL I'd hear a thump and be all "wtf?"

And yes Lucid! <3

Lucid: 05-20-2011 10:46 PM

I epic failed at getting him right. XD but he's sketchy so I thought I'd show you anyway.

Desmond 05-20-2011 10:53 PM

Zuko just has the huge tank because I've had since I was kid, won it in a raffle thingy. I think that he's happier with more room to swim around. He has a light too that he likes having on.

My friend had one once that did try killing itself a few times. Moved him to a bigger tank and he was happy and he didn't try it again.

Theres a pond up at school that has Koi and some goldfish. People look at me kinda funny when I jump on the rocks to look at them. Oh well. I like looking at the fishies.

Reyoki 05-20-2011 10:57 PM

My cousin has about 15 koi in a pond in his back yard. He raises them and sells them to people once they get really huge. Cleaning the 4 filters he has to keep the water clean is a pig, though. Man alive, can those fish POOP!!!

Azrael 05-20-2011 11:18 PM

I won two fish at a carnival. They lived for like... three years ._. it was nuts. XD And ate any other fish I put in the tank.

Quiet Man Cometh 05-20-2011 11:20 PM

My dad has a friend who breeds koi. He wants to buy some of the black ones that don't sell for pets to stuff into his beaver pond to clean it up (old vegetation and whatnot. Apparently koi are really good at that). However, we're talking a wild beaver pond and the guy's wife who's an environmental supervisor of sorts is having none of *that!*

My mother also brought some goldfish back from Japan when she was young. The fish were so docile that the airline attendent grabbed her bag and threw it onto the baggage scanner before she could tell him about it and you could see these huge goldfish swimming very calmly back and fourth on the security monitor which no one happened to be looking at at the time, so she flew back with two goldfish in her carry-on bag and they did fine. This, of course, was back when people were allowed to smoke on airplanes.

Reyoki 05-20-2011 11:21 PM

Carnival fish are pretty aggressive. My next door neighbor got a goldfish from a carnival once. Whenever it was hungry, it would jump out of the tank at you like it was trying to attack you! If there was a lid on the tank, it was able to knock it off, too. It got to be a pretty dang huge goldfish. I don't know if she still has it or not. I'll ask her next time I see her.

Desmond 05-20-2011 11:22 PM

I've always wanted to win a fish at a carnival. Never have been able to. Kinda sad really. Maybe this year I can! ^^

Kenly 05-20-2011 11:28 PM

Kamikaze Chinchilla 05-20-2011 11:48 PM

Gozed 05-20-2011 11:49 PM

Those poor fish... *cleans Kami bits off my pants into the fish tank*

Azrael 05-20-2011 11:52 PM

O.O KAMI DIDN'T READ THE RULES ~smacks with newspaper~ bad kami!

Reyoki 05-20-2011 11:54 PM

It's bad luck to eat koi... apparently they're not very tasty, either. My dad said they're not, anyway.

Kamikaze Chinchilla 05-21-2011 12:15 AM

Who says I'm eating them? I'm just gnawing on them D8...like chew toys.

*explodes*
