The only weird wake up call I've ever had was when I woke up with a chipmunk trying to hide a nut in my hair after having camped outside of the tent to watch the stars. The weird little furry guy had been pawing at my hair just to stick a nut in the middle of my head. He followed me around for the rest of the day with the very same nut that had woken me up~

I haven't been lucky to get my cats to wake me, due to my sister's allergies keeping them out of the bedrooms
however, our dog one time I heard him barking and barking in the middle of the night, I looked outside and didn't see him ran all the way downstairs and when I opened the door he happily wagged his tail as he sat on the porch waiting for someone to come (he has only waited there once, wished he'd do that again when he breaks his chain or gets loose)but it was a neat wake-up call none the less |

Mine are usually woke up by a DO NOT ANSWER phone number since they are telemarketers >:(
I used to be a telemarketer but they were for survey questions and they were free. They were for the $100 Wal-mart gift card saying that its free but you have to pay $35 for it. I keep calling them to put me on the Do Not call list and they still keep calling me |

Oddest wakeup call I have ever had would have been either one of my cats licking me twice on the chin then nipping me when I was too slow to get up. Or this morning when my sleeping in was interrupted by tornado sirens blaring just outside my window.

Well that particular cat lives with my parents now...he needed to be a partial outdoor cat.
The sirens aren't fun but they only test them once a month so I was due to get blasted by them. It was okay though since I had overslept and needed to be up anyway. My oldest cat has a habit of jumping up on my bedroom door and trying to scratch it. He doesn't have front claws though so it is this really annoying swishing sound followed by annoyed meows and yowls...he has also taught the younger cat to do it too. |

I don't know if anyone here believes in the paranormal, but I was woken up by my moms dead cell phone when I stayed at my grandmother's friend's home. Recently, not even a year ago, the woman that owned the home died from heart failure.Nobody cleaned the house after she passed, so already the place had a weird feel to it!
As my mom kinda snooped through drawers and items infested rooms, I went to bed. In the middle of the night, my mom's phone pings due to low battery and shuts off. My alarm was the one to wake us up now. As morning rolled in however, my mom's phone alarms. There's no picture or text; just the sound. That was the creepest way to wake up! |
